Bentonvill­e West at BRYANT (25):

Top- ranked Bryant is too deep and physical for a West team using several players on both sides of the ball. And Bryant had an extra week to get ready. FS Southside at GREENWOOD (31):

Greenwood adjusted at halftime and scored the first 18 points of the third quarter in last week’s 38-10 win over FS Northside. Greenwood senior QB Jace Presley (6-3, 185) completed 21 of 33 passes for 289 yards. Junior receiver Peyton Carter (6-4, 190) caught nine passes for 119 yards. Greenwood defense forced three turnovers. Bentonvill­e West whipped Fort Smith Southside 3713 last Friday. LR CENTRAL (4) at Rogers High: LR Central stays undefeated and equals its highest win total since 2014. Rogers’ man coverage will be challenged by LR Central’s speedy receivers. Rogers rallied but fail short in last week’s 66-58 loss to Class 4A No. 4 Joe T. Robinson. Van Buren at FS NORTHSIDE (13):

Van Buren scored on its first four possession­s en route to a 39-8 halftime lead and 53-21 win over Alma. Van Buren, 2-0 for the first time in 5 years, got 5 TDs from standout senior QB Gary Phillips, including 30- and 40-yard passes and a 59-yard run. Bentonvill­e at TULSA WASHINGTON (8): Bentonvill­e failed to score on three trips into the red zone (turnover, missed FG and blocked FG) in last week’s 1710 win over Conway. Tulsa Washington boasts three big-time D-1 recruits, including receiver Javian Hester (6-4, 185; Missouri commit) and one of the nation’s top sprinters.

Russellvil­le at HAR-BER (15): Class 7A Har- Ber beat Russellvil­le 27- 7 a year ago. Russellvil­le rushed for just six yards (.4 YPC) in last week’s 33-17 loss to Class 5A Morrilton. Har-Ber has not played since absorbing an 84-68 loss August 29 at Class 5A power Pulaski Academy.

SPRINGDALE (3) at Alma: Springdale scored two TDs in the final four minutes last week to beat LR Parkview 24-21. Alma trailed Van Buren 39-8 at halftime last Friday. Alma senior receiver Grayson Bailey caught six passes for 94 yards and a TD. Alma has dropped six consecutiv­e nonconfere­nce games and lost three straight to Springdale. Heritage is open. Fayettevil­le is open.

Class 4A No. 6 Ozark at No. 23 Clarksvill­e

Ozark has won seven of the past 11 over Clarksvill­e, but the improved Panthers are 2-0 for the first time since 2009. Clarksvill­e has scored 16 touchdowns in two games this fall. Clarksvill­e’s sophomore QB (spinner back) Bryce Buckner executes the single-wing, with brother Nicholas Buckner taking most of the handoffs. Nicholas Buckner, a two-time all-state QB before sliding to running back, has scored multiple TDs this fall win wins over Booneville and Paris. Senior linebacker Eduardo Almaraz paces the defense with 25 tackles.

Ozark must recover from its 28-6 rivalry game win over Booneville. Junior QB Harper Faulkenber­ry, in his first start, ran 23 times for 84 yards and completed four of six passes, including TDs to Bryant Burns and Duke Walker. Senior Daniel Woolsey, who played only two games last year with a quad injury, paced the Hillbillie­s with 19 carries for 121 yards. “Clarksvill­e runs a lot of counters and misdirecti­on plays,” Ozark coach Jeremie Burns says.

Berryville at HUNTSVILLE ( 2): Huntsville trailed Gentry 22-7 at halftime a week ago, before losing 38-15. The Eagles ran for just 58 yards, but junior QB Brooks Wiggins completed 16 of 26 passes for 122 yards and a TD. Berryville shut out West Fork 41-0 a week ago.

FARMINGTON ( 21) at Gravette: These are former conference foes with Gravette winning seven of the past 12 in the series. But Gravette has lost 11 of its past 12 games under three different head coaches. Senior receiver Drew Sturgeon scored a pair of TDs last week when Farmington opened its new stadium with a 20-point win over rival Prairie Grove.

Keys, Okla. at LINCOLN (8): Lincoln’s mercy-rule win last year snapped a four game losing streak to Keys, Okla. The Wolves devoured Westville, Okla., last week 50-7. Keys, Okla., lost its opener last 41-14 to Checota, Okla.

COMMERCE, OKLA. (12) at Green Forest: Green Forest ran for 239 yards in last week’s 27-point win over YellvilleS­ummit, snapping the Tigers’ seven-game losing streak. Commerce, Okla., lost its opener last week to Adair, Okla., by 30 points.

Prairie Grove at DARDANELLE (2): These teams split past two meetings, with Prairie Grove winning by 1 in overtime in the second round of the 2006 playoffs, and Dardanelle winning last year 35-17. Dardanelle goes for its fifth 3-0 start in the past six years. Sand Lizard senior Blake Chambers ran 14 times for 262 yards and three TDs in last week’s 44-0 win over Charleston. Dardanelle’s D gave up only 44 yards. Prairie Grove tries to avoid its second straight 0-2 start and third since 2009 after losing last week by 20 points at Farmington.

Smackover at SHILOH CHRISTIAN (21): Shiloh Christian didn’t play last week after drubbing Florida smallschoo­l power Moore Haven 41- 6 at Disney’s Wide Word of Sports Complex. Senior Truitt Tollett had 132 yards receiving, ran for a TD and returned a punt 66 yards for another TD. Smackover lost last week at Class 2A No. 1 Junction City 42-18.

HOT SPRINGS (3) at Mena: Mena has won four of the past seven in the series, including the past two by a total of 30 points. The Bearcats stuffed a two-point conversion in overtime a week ago to eek out a 36-35 win against Prescott. Improved Hot Springs ran for 148 yards and sophomore QB Isaac Shelor completed 11 of 18 passes for 102 yards and a TD in last week’s mercy-rule win over Fountain Lake ( led 40- 0 in the second half).

WALDRON (8) at Paris: Waldron led Mansfield 22-12 at halftime a week ago and by eight points in the fourth quarter before surrenderi­ng two late TDs in a 38-34 setback. Bulldog junior QB Braden Williams threw three TD passes. Paris gave up nine TDs in last week’s 63-0 loss to Class 5A Clarksvill­e.

Booneville at POTTSVILLE ( 3): Booneville had 44 first half yards in last week’s 28-6 loss to Ozark. The Bearcats are getting healthier and matchup well on the line. Pottsville senior Drew Rust ran for more than 200 yards in last week’s 11-point loss at Newport.

Subiaco Academy at LAMAR (23): Lamar has won eight straight over Subiaco Academy. Subiaco Academy’s 34-7 win over Lavaca last week was its third straight in a season opener and seventh of the past eight. Lamar led Danville last week 35-0 at halftime before allowing 13 points in the second half.

West Fork at ELKINS (6): West Fork has won six of the past nine over Elkins, but Elkins bulled to a 54-0 decision a year ago. Elkins gave up 314 yards rushing in last week’s 31-20 loss to Greenland. West Fork has a 2-30 record in the 32 games.

Mountainbu­rg at GREENLAND (17): Greenland downed Class 2A Mountainbu­rg 53-39 last season. Mountainbu­rg managed just 42 yards in last week’s 46-0 loss to Cedarville. Greenland junior QB Gabe Wilson accounted for five TDs in last week’s 31-20 victory at Class 4A Elkins.

Lavaca at MANSFIELD (38): Mansfield leveled Class 2A Lavaca 47-0 last fall. Mansfield last week rallied from a 22-12 halftime deficit for a dramatic 38-34 victory last week against Class 4A Waldron. Mansfield senior QB Ethan Stovall completed 19 of 27 passes for 265 yards and three TDs to three receivers Senior receiver Layton Howard snagged nine passes for 133 yards and a score.

J.C. WESTSIDE (1) at Two Rivers: Two Rivers ended a 36-game losing skid Week 0 by defeating Marshall 12-8, and it trailed Quitman 6-0 at halftime a week ago. JC Westside won this matchup 48-6 a year ago.

Spring Hill at HACKETT (8): Junior QB Avery Hester accounted for 229 yards and four TDs in a 36-0 pasting of Pocola, Okla. Junior Weston Winters carried seven times for 106 yards. Sophomore Jessie Esparza blocked a punt and recovered it for a TD. Spring Hill has dropped eight straight since beating Genoa Central in Week 3 of 2018.
