ROGERS — John Joseph McManus,

age 87, of Rogers, Ark., peacefully passed away on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019. John was born July 30, 1932, in Allegheny, Pa., to George and Walburga McManus, who

preceded him in death.

John honorably served his country in the Korean War as a member of the United States Marine Corps. John loved his time on the golf course, and lived for the time that he spent with family. He approached each day with a humble, loving heart, and was always willing to take time to help others in need.

John is survived by Jeanette, his beloved wife of 52 years along with his children Joseph (Carla) McManus of Naperville, Illinois, and George (Melissa) McManus of Rogers; grandchild­ren, Ciara McManus of Dubuque, Iowa, Maura McManus of Naperville, Illinois, Cole McManus of Naperville, Illinois, Alexandra McManus of Rogers and Gabrielle McManus of Rogers.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 5 p.m.7 p.m., at Westfield Chapel, located at 3236 West Huntsville Road, Springdale, Ark. A funeral mass will be held the following day at 10 a.m., at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Rogers, Ark., followed by ceremonial military honors at the National Cemetery in Fayettevil­le, Arkansas.
