Fort Smith Southside 3, Rogers High 0

Junior Avery Fitzgerald put up a unique double-double with 13 kills and 12 service aces to lead the Mavericks to a 25-9, 25-18, 25-12 nonconfere­nce win over Rogers High.

The Mavericks (29-5) will head to the Class 6A state tournament next week as the No. 1 seed from the 6A-Central. They will play the Van Buren-Cabot winner at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Toree Tiffee chipped in 10 kills and Bailey Vega added four blocks for Southside. Hannah Hogue also contribute­d 26 assists.

Ryley Martin led Rogers (12-21) with four kills, while Brooke Park contribute­d five digs. The Lady Mounties will face Fort Smith Northside at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the state tournament.

Greenwood 3, Vilonia 0

The Lady Bulldogs secured the top seed from the 5A-West Conference with a 25-8, 25-6, 25-13 victory.

Camryn Presley put up a double-double with 14 kills and 11 digs for Greenwood (27-8), the defending Class 5A state champions.

Mackenzie White put down a team-high 17 kills to lead the Lady Wildcats to a 20-25, 25-23, 2514, 23-25, 15-7 nonconfere­nce win over Carl Junction, Mo. on Thursday night.

Kat Cooper added 15 kills and three aces for Har-Ber (25-7), while Skyler Fernandez dished out 28 assists and Trinity Sharp contribute­d 25 digs. The Lady Wildcats will be the No. 2 seed from the 6A-West and will play Wednesday in the state tournament in Cabot.

Paris 3, Charleston 0

The Lady Eagles rolled to a 25-20, 25-17, 25-11 win over Charleston to claim the 3A-West conference tournament title on Thursday.

Paris (35-1), the defending state champions, will host the state tournament next week beginning on Tuesday. Mansfield defeated Waldron 25-23, 25-19, 25-19 to take third place. All four teams advance to the state tournament. Shiloh Christian 3, Berryville 0

Rylee Odell finished with a team-high 14 kills to lead the Lady

Saints to a 25-18, 26-24, 25-21 win over Berryville to claim the 4A-Northwest Conference tournament title on Thursday night at Huntsville.

Avery Porter added eight kills and nine digs, while Rylee Kallesen chipped in five blocks. Kathlee Murphree contribute­d 18 assists and two aces for Shiloh Christian, which improved to 15-16-1 overall and avenged a five-set loss to Berryville two weeks ago.

The Lady Saints play at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the state tournament at Morrilton. Farmington, the regular-season conference champion, will be the No. 3 seed and Pea Ridge will be the No. 4 seed. Carthage, Mo. 3, Bentonvill­e 2

Carthage spoiled Bentonvill­e’s Senior Day celebratio­n as the Lady Tigers dropped a nonconfere­nce match Thursday in Tiger Arena.

Three players finished with double-doubles for Bentonvill­e (23-9) as Savannah Riney had 18 kills and 21 digs, Trinity Hamilton had 10 kills and 23 digs and Taylor Shapley had 43 assists and 17 digs. Maddie Breed added 13 kills, while Kloey Eakin had 37 digs. Jamie Myrick added 10 digs and a team-high five aces.

Bentonvill­e, which clinched the 6A-West title outright, earned a first-round bye for the Class 6A state tournament and will play at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Cabot.
