WASHINGTON COUNTY

Caudle Avenue Baptist Church in Springdale, 404 Caudle Ave., will host a free Trunk or Treat and community meal from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the east parking lot. A bounce house will also be available, and there will be free clothing and some household items. Informatio­n: 750-2010. Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayettevil­le, 1910 N. Old Wire Road, hosts a Trunk-or-Treat Fall Fest from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

BENTON COUNTY

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts the “It’s Fall Y’all!” family fun festival from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 in McKay Hall. Enjoy games, raffle door prizes, candy, food and drinks for the whole family.

On Nov. 10, BVCC will have a patriotic worship service in honor of Veterans Day from 10 to 10:45 a.m., followed by a short break. The annual meeting is from 10:55 to 11:30 a.m.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31. There will be inflatable­s, horseback rides, popcorn, hot chocolate and candy. In case of rain the event will be held indoors at the church.

There will be a congregati­onal meeting at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.

First Presbyteri­an Church in Bentonvill­e, 901 N.E. J St., will host a “Trunk or Treat” event at 5 p.m.

Sunday. Dinner is provided, along with games, activities and a hayride for all ages. Decorated cars will be in the north parking lot for the trunk or treating.

At 7 p.m. Oct. 29, the church will host the Chorale of Southwest Baptist University of Bolivar, Mo., in a concert of sacred music.

Good Shepherd Evangelica­l Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, hosts the annual Reformatio­n Celebratio­n beginning at 5 p.m. today with hot dogs, a bonfire and a hayride.

A potluck meal follows worship Nov. 3, and the Women’s Second Saturday Brunch and Bible Study is at 10 a.m. Nov. 9.

Organists from all over Northwest Arkansas will serve up haunting music of all kinds at the second Organ Spooktacul­ar at 7 p.m.

Oct. 29. Admission is free, and a freewill offering will benefit the Northwest Arkansas American Guild of Organists and the Peace Lutheran Food Pantry.

Trick or Treating will take place throughout the Hallowed Hallways of Peace Lutheran Church from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.

Unity Church of the Ozarks, 2200 S.E. J St., Bentonvill­e, hosts its monthly potluck Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. service. Bring a dish to share.

Unity continues to collect items to send for thousands of troops in Afghanista­n who are facing cold weather. These items can be dropped at various sites such as American Legion Post and the City Hall by the end of October. Warm blankets, thermal underwear, stocking caps, gloves, cocoa mix, and hand warmers are just a few of the needed items. Volunteers to pack boxes are welcome to call 426-8723.

Village Bible Church

in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts the Oasis Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 30. A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and at 6:30 p.m. there will be singing, devotions and prayer in the Worship Center. Infant and toddler nursery for kids is offered as well, and the community is always warmly welcomed.
