FAYETTEVIL­LE — Lowell David Cawood, age 63, of Fayettevil­le passed from this life to his eternal home in Heaven on Nov. 11, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Joy

Cawood.

Dave graduated from Springdale High School in 1974 and attended classes at the University of Arkansas. He worked in trucking for Cawood Trucking and Vouk Transporta­tion.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie; sisters Lana Rogers of Fayettevil­le, Jan Lawson of Rogers and Jacki Cawood of Fayettevil­le; nephews Ryan Lawson and wife Katrina of Fayettevil­le, Chris Rogers of Fort Worth, Texas, Benjamin Henbest of Fayettevil­le and Lance Wood of Lowell; niece Victoria Henbest of Mobile, Ala.; aunts Jane Truitt and husband Glen of Tontitown and Alta Faye Lee of Topeka, Kan.; great-nephews and nieces Zane and Haley Rogers of Southlake, Texas, and Jack and Jolie Henbest of Fayettevil­le; and several cousins.

Dave loved the outdoors and enjoyed swimming, fishing and golf. He will be remembered for his kindness towards others, his warm smile and his love of life. He will be greatly missed.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Becky Rae Cook, 73, of Fayettevil­le, peacefully passed away Nov, 3, 2019. She was born March

7, 1946, in Dixon, Ill., to Virgil Ray and Gertrude (Raffenberg­er) Childers.

Becky graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree and later received her master’s degree in education at the University of Arkansas. Becky devoted over 30 years to teaching and nurturing second grade students at Westwood Elementary School in Springdale.

Becky was a loving wife to her husband, Dan, of 51 years. They were married in Dixon, Ill., on Aug. 10, 1968. Over the years they enjoyed spending time outdoors and traveling. The boated on Beaver lake, hiked the Ozark Mountains, and shared many adventures traveling the world together.

A backyard gardener, she carefully tended to her flower beds and loved the changes that came with each season. Becky was adored by her grandchild­ren. Whether decorating cookies, hunting for hidden surprises, doing science experiment­s, or snuggling up to read a book, she filled their lives with love and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by husband Dan Cook; daughter Carrie Cook (David) Anderson of Benton, Ark.; sisters Julie (Don) Scott of Morganton, N.C., and Susan (Keith) Zickuhr of Mt. Morris, Ill.; brother-in-law James (Gwen) Cook of Dixon, Ill.; and grandchild­ren Greta and Will Anderson.

GARFIELD — Edward “Scott” Tosspon, age 76, of Garfield, Ark., passed away Nov. 12, 2019. Scott was retired from the Army and is survived by his loving family and friends. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangemen­ts are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Ark.

LOWELL — David

Hamilton Haynes, 78, of Lowell, Ark., (formally of Gluckstadt, Miss.) passed away Nov. 12, 2019. David was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Squire West (“By God”), Va., to Claude and Hattie Haynes. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Grace Penn, Claude “Bud” Haynes and Charlotte Halslipp.

David was a salesman and proud of it. He called himself a “peddler.” He dealt mostly in the houseplant and nursery industry. David was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown, Ark., and a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt, Miss., for many years before moving to Lowell in 2016.

David enjoyed traveling and made friends everywhere he went. He always had a story to tell about any topic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and everything outdoors. He was a true horticultu­ralist.

A devoted husband and father, David is survived by much-loved wife Connie of 48 years; son David Haynes Jr. of Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory; daughter Cindy Craig of Granton, Wis.; five grandchild­ren, two great-granddaugh­ters and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Nov. 16, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 127 Church Road, Madison, Miss., beginning at 9:30 a.m., until the time of the funeral mass at 11 a.m., with internment to follow at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation in David’s name could be made to the American Heart Associatio­n or the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n.

ROGERS — Emmaline Hayes, 29, of Rogers, died Nov. 12, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Online condolence­s may be made at siscofuner­alhome.net.

SPRINGDALE — Michael K. Fisher, 63, of Springdale passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Northwest Medical

Center-Springdale. He was born Oct. 20, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Robert and Erma Jean Kever Fisher.

Michael was a truck driver. He was a fighter and fought a long, hard battle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fisher.

Survivors include daughters Amber Harris, Andrea Leftridge and Anna Kay Dodgen, all of St. Louis, Mo.; brother Steve Fisher and wife Teresa of Garfield; mother Erma Jean Fisher of Springdale; and several grandchild­ren.

SPRINGDALE — Sandra Yvonne Williams, 57, of Springdale, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at her home. She was born Nov. 5, 1962, in Springdale.

Sandra was passionate­ly devoted to her children. She loved to read absolutely everything, paint and stroll in her backyard. She always had an ear to lend and was abundantly accepting of others.

Sandra was preceded in death by son Raymond Williams and father Carl Baker.

She is survived by daughter Melissa Williams; mother Ella “Polly” Baker; and brothers Darrell Baker and Barry Baker and wife Daymara.

ENTERPRISE, Ala. — Jewel McMonagle of Enterprise, Ala., passed away

Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. She was 94. A memorial service will be a noon Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Kentucky MBC in Benton, Ark.

Jewel was born July 20, 1925, to the late Austin and Melissa Rhea.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph McMonagle, five brothers and four sisters.

Her favorite past time was quilting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r and great-grandmothe­r.

Survivors include sons Ronald James McMonagle (Earnestine) of New Brockton and Donald Ray McMonagle (Janyce) of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchild­ren Paul McMonagle, Heather McMonagle and Kelsey McMonagle; and great-grandchild­ren Megan and Lydia McMonagle.

REPUBLIC, Mo. — Connie Allen Dugan, age 70, of Republic, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019. Connie was born July 25, 1949, in Fayettevil­le, Ark., to Angus and Signa Allen.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Arthur Allen and sister Sharon Caudle.

Connie is survived by husband John Dugan; children Becky Davis and Bobby Center and wife Lynn; grandchild­ren Mitchell Davis, Michelle Davis and William Strickland; and sisters Gloria Allen, Mary Ann Whittingto­n and husband Jerry and Frankie Bixby and husband Paul.

Connie spent many years of her life providing in home child care to many children.

TULSA, Okla. — JoAnn Bell Kilpatrick, the only child of Paul and Bernice Bell, was born on a farm southeast of Tabor, Iowa, on Nov. 25, 1931. She passed away Nov. 12, 2019, in Tulsa, Okla.

She attended Tabor Public Schools. Following high school graduation, she attended the University of Iowa majoring in business and home economics.

On Aug. 26, 1951, she and Francis Kay Kilpatrick were united in marriage. Following graduation, the young couple moved to the Washington, D.C., area. Kay served in the Air Force and JoAnn was employed by the Coast Guard. After Kay’s discharge, they returned to Iowa where they farmed for 33 years. Here they welcomed their two daughters, Linda and Laura.

JoAnn was actively involved in her churches and community. However, her most important job was being a devoted wife and mother. In 1987, Kay retired from farming and they moved to Bella Vista, Ark. Following Kay’s death in 1998, JoAnn met and spent 18 years with Glenn Huffman. It was said to be a match made in heaven because Glenn was widowed 11 days before Kay’s passing.

In July 2017, Glenn and JoAnn moved to Country Club of Woodland Hills in Tulsa, Okla. The move was necessitat­ed by their declining health and need to be close to family.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Kay Kilpatrick and Glenn Huffman.

Survivors include daughters Linda Allert and husband Mark of Tulsa and Laura Kozarek and husband Robert of Denver, Colo.; granddaugh­ters Kristin Ross and husband Charles and Jordan Barbe and fiance Tanner Hordubay, Michael Huffman of West Allis, Wis., and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the Bella Vista Community Church on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.

Her remains will be laid to rest in Tabor, Iowa, in the summer of 2020. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bella Vista Community Church, 2507, 75 E.
