BENTONVILL­E — Jeffery Jay Thomas, 56, of Bentonvill­e died on Nov. 14, 2019, at his home. He was born Dec. 14, 1962, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Robert and Carol Thomas.

Jeffery married his wife Geralyn on Sept. 21, 1991, and moved from Milwaukee to northwest Arkansas where they have spent the last 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carol, and brother Todd Thomas.

Jeffery is survived by wife Geralyn; son Jeramy Todd Thomas; sister Nancy Stock (Robert) of Bella Vista, Ark.; brother Ricky Thomas of Milwaukee; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Family gives special thanks to Landmark Cancer Center, United Medical and Circle of Life Hospice, and requests donations be made to Circle of Life.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Lowell David Cawood, age 63, of Fayettevil­le passed from this life to his eternal home in Heaven on Nov. 11, 2019.

He was preceded in death by parents Lowell and Joy Cawood.

Dave graduated from Springdale High School in 1974 and attended classes at the University of Arkansas. He worked in trucking for Cawood Trucking and Vouk Transporta­tion.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie; sisters Lana Rogers of Fayettevil­le, Jan Lawson of Rogers and Jacki Cawood of Fayettevil­le; nephews Ryan Lawson and wife Katrina of Fayettevil­le, Chris Rogers of Fort Worth, Texas, Benjamin Henbest of Fayettevil­le and Lance Wood of Lowell; niece Victoria Henbest of Mobile, Ala.; aunts Jane Truitt and husband Glen of Tontitown and Alta Faye Lee of Topeka, Kan.; great-nephews and nieces Zane and Haley Rogers of Southlake, Texas, and Jack and Julie Henbest of Fayettevil­le; and several cousins.

Dave loved the outdoors and enjoyed swimming, fishing and golf. He will be remembered for his kindness towards others, his warm smile and his love of life. He will be greatly missed.

HARRISON — Jessie Ruth Garland, 89, Harrison, died Nov. 11, 2019. Children Nancy McBride, Jean Stewart, Danny Lavender and Terry Shairrick; sisters Alice Langford, Rene Baker and Carolyn Anderson; and 13 grandchild­ren, including Lillie Raver, survive her. LEAD HILL — Earl Russell, 91, Lead Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019. A celebratio­n of life will be held at a later date. Children Kevin Russell, Sean Russell and Karen Mikelewicz survive him.

ROGERS — Nancy Ann Moore, 80, of Rogers passed away Nov. 13, 2019. She was born July 25, 1939, in Pea Ridge, the daughter of the late Ivan and Ruth Miller Hall.

She is survived by her children Patty Hickerson and husband Ron of Newbern, Tenn.; Monte Moore and wife Chelle of Bentonvill­e; grandchild­ren Chelsea Hickerson and husband Wesley Stewart; Parker, Cooper and Emy Moore; and great-grandson Caden Stewart.

Nancy was a retired childcare provider, caring for many children through the years, who lovingly referred to her as “Nanny.” She was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Rogers and loved the numerous activities she participat­ed in with her church family. She found great joy in gardening and cooking. She especially treasured spending time with her many friends and most importantl­y with her family and loved hearing her grandchild­ren affectiona­tely call her “Grammy” and “Grandma Moore.”

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at Southside Church of Christ with Mr. Paul Woodhouse officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers.

SUMMERS — Robert Edgar Bartlett, age 66, of Summers, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 13. Robert was born Sept. 12, 1953. WINSLOW — Martha Jane Evans, age 72, a resident of Winslow, Ark., passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, in Anaheim, Calif. She was born Sept. 17, 1947, in Holly Grove, Ark., the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Bernic Ann (McCurley) Catlett.

She was preceded in death by parents and her loving husband, Donald Bruce Evans.

Survivors include sons Gerald Evans and wife Dianna and Donald Evans, all of Winslow, Ark.; daughter Charlene Evans, also of Winslow, Ark.; sisters Linda Morgan of McCamey, Texas, Darlene Davis of Stanton, Calif., and Myra DeVenencia of Anaheim, Calif.; grandchild­ren Tiffany Barnes (Josh), Ashley Evans (Joe Jennings), Melissa Cooper (William), Timothy Evans, Nathan Evans (Tori) and Charles Jackson; and 13 great-grandchild­ren.
