WHEN UCA HAS THE BALL Its offense has been led throughout the season by sophomore quarterback Breylin Smith, who has passed for 2,041 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2019. UCA’s leading receiver remains Lujuan Winningham, but he was lost for the season when he broke his left humerus in UCA’s 29-25 victory over Sam Houston State on Oct. 26. Freshman receiver Tyler Hudson has led UCA through the two games with totals of 7 catches for 145 yards and 3 touchdowns. He is third on the team for the season with 39 catches for 712 yards and 8 touchdowns. Senior running back Carlos Blackman has 42 catches for 318 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he leads UCA with 500 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns.

WHEN STEPHEN F. AUSTIN HAS THE BALL Freshman quarterback Cam Arnold completed 15 of 22 passes for 201 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception in the Lumberjacks’ 31-24 victory over Incarnate Word last Saturday. Stephen F. Austin is led in receptions by freshman Xavier Gipson with 41 catches for 751 yards and 5 touchdowns. Gipson is one of ten Lumberjacks’ receivers with 10 or more catches this season. Junior leading rusher Da’Leon Ward leads the team in rushing with 534 yards. Junior Josh McGowen has rushed for 269 yards and 5 touchdowns.
