WASHINGTON COUNTY
First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, presents its Chancel Choir and Crandell Ringers Handbell Choir on the first Sunday of Advent, Dec. 1, at 10:30 a.m.
The church will host “Blue Christmas” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3.
A Christmas brunch will be hosted by the Presbyterian Women at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Fellowship Hall.

Son’s Chapel in Fayetteville, 5480 E. Mission Blvd., will host its annual Christmas Sing-Along from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 1. Come tour this historic stone church and enjoy holiday refreshments. Information: 530-0910.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, 224 N. East Ave., hosts a Prison Story Project performance, “Stories from the Inside Out: 9 for 9,” a staged reading of stories from women incarcerated at the Northwest Arkansas Community Correction Center, at 7:30 p.m. today in Parish Hall. A $10 donation will be collected; a portion of the proceeds will benefit Magdalene Serenity House.
A Thanksgiving Day Eucharist Service is set for 10 a.m. on Nov. 28.
This season of Advent, St. Paul’s is offering an evening series on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. including:
Dec. 1 — Advent Wreath Festival, 5:30 p.m. Supper and nursery will be provided. If you can, bring some fresh greenery to share plus a $20 donation for materials.
Dec. 8 — St. Nicholas Celebration, 5:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy cookie decorating and tales of the famous 4th century Bishop Nicholas of Myra.

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts the following Christmas concerts in the sanctuary:

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts Thanksgiving Day worship service at 10 a.m.
On Nov. 26, “Different Strokes for Different Folks” will meet at 2 p.m. in the church library. This is a support group for those that have had a stroke or other brain injury.
On Dec. 3 there will be a special worship service for those unable to attend a regular worship service. For transportation, call the church office.
The Shepherd’s Food Pantry will not be open on Nov. 29.

First Baptist Church in Rogers, 3364 W. Pleasant Grove Road, offers free Thanksgiving meals to the homebound and those in need inside the Rogers city limits. Dinners will be delivered between 9 a.m. and noon Nov. 28.
To reserve a meal, call 636-3451 before Nov. 27. Information: fbcrogers.org. First Presbyterian Church in Rogers, 1901 S. 26th St., will host two Bible study classes, one at 9 a.m. Monday and the second at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Both are in the church library.
The church office is closed Nov. 28-29 for Thanksgiving. A group will meet at 9 a.m. Nov. 29 in the narthex to decorate the Christmas tree.

First United Methodist Church
20 Boyce Drive, hosts a Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 28. Cost is $13 per person; children 10 and younger eat free. Reservations must be made and tickets purchased no later than Sunday in the church office.
Last Church Council of the year meets at 4 p.m. Dec. 1 in Becker Hall. All members of the church should attend as the future of the church will be discussed.
