ARKANSAS vs. LSU: HOW WE SEE IT
CLAY HENRY, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED
Who knows where the Hogs will be emotionally by the time they get through the open date and travel to LSU. Still, the Tigers are really good and it’s clear the Hogs are at the other end of the spectrum. The only question: Will Rakeem Boyd get his usual cross country TD? LSU, 63-7.
DUDLEY E. DAWSON, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED
Darren McFadden isn’t walking through that door. Billy Ray Smith isn’t either. And neither is Chad Morris. In a season that has been ugly, it’s now time for arguably the nation’s best team to come off the top rope on arguably the nation’s worst Power 5 team. LSU 70-14.
MATT JONES, WHOLE HOG SPORTS
The best offense in college football gets a shot at arguably the worst defense in the SEC. The biggest question is whether the overmatched Razorbacks will show fight that has lacked for more than a month. LSU 55-21.
SCOTTIE BORDELON, WHOLE HOG SPORTS
Joe Burrow and his talented group of receivers will have a field day against the Razorbacks. Tigers tailback Clyde Edwards-Helaire is sure to have a nice day, too. LSU, 49-7.
ALYSSA ORANGE, RAZORBACK NATION
Yikes. After Saturday’s big win against Alabama, and the way Arkansas flopped against Western Kentucky, I don’t see how this one is going to be close. In my opinion, LSU is the best team in the country. LSU, 48-0.
TYE RICHARDSON, HALF TIME
Ty Storey came to Fayetteville and looked unstoppable. Joe Burrow shouldn’t have much of a problem. LSU, 55-17.
BART POHLMAN, THE HOG POD
Arkansas is a bad football team, among the worst in the country. If the Hogs can’t compete with the likes of Western Kentucky, how on earth can they keep it close against the best team in the country? LSU can name the score. LSU, 52-10.
JOHN NABORS, THE MORNING RUSH
LSU is the best team in the country and has proven it week after week. The Tigers are just too much for the Hogs in every phase of the team and cruise to an easy victory. LSU, 52-10.
SETH CAMPBELL, WHOLE HOG SPORTS
It may be a trophy game, but the only boot the Hogs are getting is the boot back home to the hill. Joe Burrow picks apart the Arkansas secondary before sitting out the fourth quarter. LSU, 52-7.
TOMMY CRAFT, THE MORNING RUSH
LSU is the best team in the SEC and likely the country. The Hogs don’t have enough players up front to compete, much less win. LSU, 54-3.
HARRY KING, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED
The first time in memory picking the Razorbacks to lose by such a margin, but anything respectable would be a surprise. LSU, 49-20.
CHIP SOUZA, NWA DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE
Whew boy. This one could get ugly in a hurry, meaning it will resemble most of the games Arkansas has played this season. LSU 56-10.
