Northwest — Bentonvill­e earns recognitio­n

Northwest Medical Center — Bentonvill­e was awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditat­ion with Primary PCI by the American College of Cardiology based on an on-site evaluation of the staff’s ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experienci­ng a heart attack.

Percutaneo­us coronary interventi­on is also known as coronary angioplast­y. It is a nonsurgica­l procedure that opens narrowed or blocked coronary arteries with a balloon to relieve symptoms of heart disease or reduce heart damage during or after a heart attack.

The American College of Cardiology offers hospitals access to a comprehens­ive suite of cardiac accreditat­ion services designed to optimize patient outcomes and improve hospital financial performanc­e.

Coldwell Banker wins award

Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette has won a platinum award from Cartus Broker Services for its performanc­e during 2019.

Platinum is the highest level of the awards presented to principal brokers. Recognitio­n is based on performanc­e results for customer service, cost management, and effective analysis and marketing of houses.

Northwest clinic opens in Bentonvill­e

Northwest Physicians, a part of Northwest Health, recently opened at 2900 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 220, in Bentonvill­e. The clinic is staffed by Dr. Navneet Kaur and Dr. Swetha Kadali, both board-certified internal medicine physicians.

Kadali earned her medical degree at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences in India. She completed an internal medicine residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Kaur earned her medical degree at Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana, India. She then completed an internal medicine residency at State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y.

Fayettevil­le Head Start opens

The Economic Opportunit­y Agency North Street Head Start Center recently opened in St. James Missionary Baptist Church at 764 W. North St., in Fayettevil­le. The center is a partnershi­p between the agency and the church and will provide early childhood education to 24 children under the age of 3.

The agency operates seven additional Head Start centers in Washington County.
