BENTONVILLE — Phil Patric Peery, 82, of Bentonville died Friday, April 3, 2020, at his residence. He was born July 4, 1937, in Maramec, Okla., the son of Thelma and Nolan Peery. Phil was an active member of First Christian Church of Bentonville where he taught Sunday school classes for many years. He worked at Ozark Guidance for 33 years before retiring. Phil enjoyed reading and watching sports, especially Sooner football. He loved his family, his grandkids, and his dog, Penny.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sherry Woodring.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jackye Peery; two daughters, Jacquelyn Peery Bearden and her husband, Doug, of Maumelle, and Jennifer Peery of Bentonville; three grandchildren, Hunter Bearden, Cole Bearden and Emmie Peery; and many friends.
Memorials in Phil’s name can be made to First Christian Church of Bentonville and the Youth Camp Scholarship at First Christian Church of Bentonville.
A celebration of Phil’s life will be held at a later date.

BRYANT — Patricia “Patti” Diane Caver Jacuzzi, 72, died April 3, 2020, from complications caused by COVID-19. She was born May 23, 1947, in Little Rock, Ark., to Betty and Gilbert Caver. In addition to her parents, Patti was preceded in death by her beloved son Clay Colford.
After graduating from Mount St. Mary Academy, she attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Patti began her career at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she worked for a number of years. She worked with Jim Carroll at First Commercial and then at his firm, Rosen & Carroll, as a loan officer. Her banking career ended at Pulaski Bank. For the last few years, Patti worked for Park Hill Collection.
Patti’s special flair was in the decorative arts. She was a talented watercolorist and enjoyed donating pieces of art for silent auctions, such as the Easterseals Arkansas Art & Soul event. She was noted for the family gatherings and parties she hosted, where she designed and created the floral arrangements and table decorations that made the day special for those involved. As an enthusiastic gardener and lover of the arts, she was active in the Saline County Master Gardeners program and enjoyed volunteering as an usher for the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
Patti was a loving, doting and generous friend, sister, mother and grandmother, who went out of her way
to provide comfort to those who needed it. Her sense of humor was matched by that of her son, Casey, and the two loved to make each other laugh. Some of her greatest joys included crafting with her grandchildren, taking them on trips and making their holidays extra special. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Jacuzzi of Bryant; son Casey Caver Jacuzzi and wife Jillian of Benton; stepson Richard Jacuzzi, Jr. and wife Alisha of Alexander; sister Rita Caver of Fayetteville; brother Gilbert G. Caver of Little Rock; grandchildren Isabella, Grant, Clay and Hattie; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of Patti’s life will be held when it is possible. The family would like to thank the UAMS ICU doctors, nurse and staff for their unwavering care.

CAVE SPRINGS — Tammery Lynn Wood Lawrence, 64, of Cave Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 30, 2020. Tammy was born April 20, 1955 in Terrell, Texas, and is the only child of George Edward Wood and Wilma Sullivan Wood.
She lived in Terrell until graduating high school in 1973. That same fall, she enrolled at East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. It was her first week of school when she met Roger Lawrence. After six short weeks of dating, the two were engaged and married on May 25, 1974.
Tammy and Roger moved to Shreveport, La., and welcomed two sons, Ryan and Kyle. She loved nothing more than watching her boys play ball. No matter where they were playing, she would be in attendance as their biggest fan.
Roger and Tammy relocated numerous times, but one thing remained constant with each new move; she quickly made new friends while remaining close to old friends. Tammy was happy to move to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 to be near her family, especially her only granddaughter, Paige.
She and Denise Peacock were co-owners of Simply Rustic Gifts in Springdale. Tammy was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rogers. She loved to sew, sing, serve the Lord, and share time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 46 years, Roger, a son, Ryan, a daughter-in-law, Jamie, and granddaughter, Paige.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Wilma Wood, and a son, Kyle Everett Lawrence.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date once the current limitations on gatherings have subsided.

CENTERTON — Keith Allen Parker, born July 8, 1966, lost his battle with cancer Saturday, March 28, 2020.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Parker; siblings Robin Hardy, Jeff Parker, Tammy Johns, Jennifer Parker and Wendy Parker. He is also survived by a large amount of nieces and nephews.
Due to the times, we will not have a visitation. Your prayers are coveted by the family. Keith was a loving soul; the family asks that you perform small acts of kindness in Keith’s name.

FAYETTEVILLE — Kris Day Strouts, age 66, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born on Jan. 28, 1954, in Germany to Robert and Arlene (Day) Strouts.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents.
She is survived by her son, Matt Strouts and wife Lisa of Fayetteville; her brother, Robert Strouts and wife Linda of Herndon, Va.; granddaughter; Kristen Strouts of Fayetteville; niece, Jenny Strouts of Sterling, Va.; and nephew, Michael Strouts of Gaithersburg, Md.
To honor Kris’ final wishes, no services will be held.

FAYETTEVILLE — Edward Lee Tate, 79, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020. He was born April 29, 1940, in Oark to E.W. and Estelle Tate.
Ed owned and operated his own business, Arkan Exterminating for many years in the Northwest Arkansas area. He enjoyed many years coaching his son’s and other youth baseball teams. He founded and was the coach for the Fayetteville Boxing Club for over a decade, and took pride in the success of many young men who participated.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and attending auctions before an illness limited his abilities.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Archie and Ernest; and sister, Mabel Skaggs.
Ed is survived by his sons, Tim (Melinda) of Stafford, Virginia and Terry (Marci) of Fayetteville, Ark.; brothers, Gearld, Lonnie and Malcolm; grandsons, Jake, Cody, Liam, Weston and Cooper; and granddaughters, Jessica (Tim) Power and Kaitlyn.
No services are planned. There will be a private burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

HOT SPRINGS — Joni Joyce James, 53, of Hot Springs, and formerly of Bentonville, Ark., died April 3, 2020, at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs, Ark. Joni was born March 4, 1967, in Rogers, Ark., to Will and Vickie Garrigus James.
Joni was a graduate of the 1985 class of Bentonville High School. She continued her education at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in Business.
Throughout Joni’s life, she enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, playing card and dice games, riding motorcycles, caring for her dogs and finding great antiques at auctions, garage sales and flea markets. She loved being with and visiting her many great friends.
Joni is survived by her fiancé, Curtis Anderson of Hot Springs; her sister and brother-in-law, Scott and Debra James Greenawalt; two nephews, Nash James and Parker Greenawalt; an uncle and aunt, Mel and Yvonne James; and her stepmother, Mickey James, all of Bentonville and many cousins.
Private services will be held at Hart Cemetery in Bentonville. An event celebrating Joni’s life will be announced at a later date.

LOWELL — Frankie Sue Trammell, 83, of Lowell, Ark., passed away April 2, 2020 at her home. She was born Sept. 13, 1936, in Searcy County, Ark., to Frank and Hazel Ramey Moore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hazel Moore; two daughters, Vicki Sue Trammell and Christy Lynn Trammell; and one sister, Catherine Wallen of West Grove, Ark.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bob Trammell; children Don (Debbie) Trammell, Kim Meadors; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

ROGERS — Alvin Frank (Bud) Carlson, 94, of Rogers, Ark., passed away, Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at Circle of Life in Bentonville, Ark. He was born April 12, 1925, in Rockford, Ill., to Frank William Carlson and Ruth W. Peterson Carlson.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was employed at Bentonville Casting Co. for 27 years and served as plant manager for much of that time.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Carlson; brother, Wayne Carlson of Bentonville, Ark., and sister, Phyllis Lundberg of Rockford, Ill.
He survived by his wife of 71 years, Wanda Cline Carlson; four children, Karen (husband) Jim Saudargas, Ronald (wife) Gynny Carlson, Randall (wife) Patty Carlson, Jill Usher; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

ROGERS — Robert “Bob” Charles Foster, 81, was born on Oct. 23, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away March 27, 2020, in Bentonville.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene, son, Mark (Michelle), brother, Tom Foster, two granddaughters and their husbands, and one great-grandchild. Services pending.

ROGERS — Marcella June Henry, 83, of Rogers, died April 1, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born June 27, 1936, in Cook, Minn., to Milton Thornberg and Hilma Haavisto Thornberg.
She married Glen Edwin Henry May 11, 1957, and was a homemaker. She and Glen were foster parents to over a hundred children in California and was “Granny” to many people. She enjoyed interior design, antiques, geneology and was the party host to anyone that came by her house. June loved animals and cared for many thoughout her years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her husband, Glen Henry of the home; a daughter, Linda Wisley (George) of Rogers; a son, David Henry (Maria) of Nairobi, Kenya; two special adopted children, Sandi Lemke (Duane) of Bella Vista, Poda (Alice) of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren, Kristen Wisley, Luke Wisley( Aubree), Melody Tucker (Seth), Lindsay Lee (Ryan), Magui a Ramilo-Henry, Caroline Ramilo-Henry, Ana Ramilo-Henry; great-grandchildren, Judah, Maddox, Titus, Mercy June, Gideon, August, Maggie, Phin, Silas and Aiden.
Due to the concerns for the health of June’s many friends, a private family graveside will held at Roller Cemetery.

ROGERS — Delia Marie Maloney, 81, died on Friday, March 27, 2020, at her home in Rogers, Ark. She was born on the 24th of January 1939, in Rome, N.Y., to her parents Lloyd and Mucella Shanty Farley.
Delia was one of eight children and is survived by her sister, Geraldine Simpson and brothers, Wendell and Robert Farley. Delia is also survived by her five children; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; daughter, Vickie
Sabo and husband, Joe and their two children, Desiree and Thomas; son, Michael McFadden and wife, Debbie and their three children, Michael Jr., Tina and Jason; son, Darren McFadden and his five children, Joey, Stacy, Megan, Christy and Nichole; son, Martin McFadden and wife, Martaine and their five children, Eric, Martin, Matthew, Brook and Jacob; son, Royden Walker and wife, Pam and their daughter, Trina.
As written in her diary with love, Delia’s first passion was her family. Her reach was beyond her immediate family, to her extended family, and often referred to as grandma “D”. She was an accomplished business executive working in the child daycare industry. She later went on to realize, she had a passion in home decorating and design.
Memorial service for Delia will be announced at a future date when travel is safe for friends and family.
We love you sister, mom, grandma, great-grandma and grandma “D”. You will be missed, but always in our hearts. Rest in peace.

ROGERS — Douglas “Dougie” Edward Peterson, 62, of passed away on April 3, 2020, after a hard-fought battle with colon cancer. Doug was born April 10, 1957 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Robert and Mildred Peterson.
He graduated from East High School and continued on to earn a degree from South Dakota State University. With an interest in journalism, he began working in the newspaper business in LeMars, Iowa, before journeying down to find a home in Arkansas. He ended his career working for Kennametal Inc. and retired in the fall of 2018.
Doug loved his family, his friends, and most importantly, the Chicago Bears. With a warm smile and undeniable sense of humor, Doug brought endless joy to his loved ones. He was a true Peterson, always ready to love hard and laugh easy. He could always be found at his weekly poker game, where friends became brothers. He will certainly miss one such brother, Howard Snyder, who stood by Doug’s side right until the end.
Doug is survived by his sisters, Susan Peterson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Barbara (John) Sperry of Peoria, Ill.; brother, Jim (Joan) Peterson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; along with his beloved nieces and nephews, Jon (Sarah) Peterson, Megan (Alan) Lundberg Barker, Joe Peterson, David Peterson, Matt (Hannah) Sperry, Peter Sperry, and Maggie Sperry.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of life will planned for a future date. Doug will be laid to rest in Sioux City, Iowa.

YROGERS — Mildred Marie Whitmer, age 91, of Rogers, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Mildred was born Dec. 11, 1928, in Jackson, Miss., to Walter and Bertie Gilbert.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 72 years, Bob Whitmer; son Steven Ray Whitmer, daughter-in-law Debbie Whitmer; grandson Zach Snow. Mildred is survived by three sons, David Whitmer (Hiwasse), Jeff Whitmer and wife Carrie (Fayetteville), and Tommy Whitmer (Hiwasse). She is also survived by six grandchildren, Misti Wilson, Stephen Polk, Wes Whitmer, Rachel Kopek, Thomas Autrey and Chelsie Harper and two great-grandchildren, Jurnee Wilson and Christian Harper.
Mildred became a hairdresser at the age of 15, and continued that career for over 50 years including many clients in Pea Ridge and Gravette. She always loved to dance, play cards, table games and was a fantastic cook. She met her true love, Bob, at a skating rink where he literally knocked her off her feet. She enjoyed life.
Interment will be alongside Mr. Bob, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
She was a wonderful mother, grand and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

YROGERS — Charmaine Lynn Lane, 63, of Rogers passed away March 30, 2020, in Rogers. She was born Aug. 6, 1956, in Riverside, Calif., the daughter of Milless Shores.
She is homemaker and preceded in death by her husband Patrick Lane.
Charmaine is survived by her children, Patricia Froga, Mary Navarrette, Ulysses Lane, Diane DeVall, Kristy Rivas and Matthew Lane; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

YGAINESVILLE, Fla. — Barbara “Kay” Kirkland, 83, of Gainesville, Fla., passed away on March 21, 2020, at 8:35 p.m., at the VITAS Hospice Center at the Plaza Health and Rehab Center. She was born on April 25, 1936, in Ponca City, Okla., to Marvin and Katherine Gardner. She was one of three children.
In 1957 she began her career in Cosmetology, where she owned and operated several successful hair salons. In the 1960s she worked many times with Hollywood movie and stage productions.
She was the wife of William “Bill” R. Kirkland Jr. who was a veteran pilot during WWII and later a CEO with Mobil Oil Corporation. They were married 38 years. When they returned from overseas in the mid 1980’s she was active and on the board for the Bella Vista Women’s Golf Association before moving to Florida.
She will be buried at the Greenlawn Cemetery at 3700 River Blvd. There will be a family memorial after things settle down with the covid-19.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Lee, son-inlaw Bill Lee; two grandchildren, spouses and four great grandchildren, Kiley Lee, Spencer, Liam and Ellie Simmons.

YKANSAS CITY, Mo. — Pauline (Ehrhardt) O’Donnell joined her husband, Con O’Donnell, in heaven on March 21, 2020.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., in 1925, Pauline attended East High School, graduating in 1942. While working at the KC Leeds Chevy plant, Con O’Donnell winked at her and she winked back. Thus began their timeless love.
In 1954, Pauline and Con married. Because she was the president of the local PEO chapter and he a dedicated Chevy district manager, instead of a honeymoon, she attended the PEO convention in Chicago and he went on a business trip to western Kansas.
Thereafter, they were inseparable, living in Independence, Kan., Wichita, Kan., Florissant, Mo., and Grosse Pointe, Mich. When Con retired in 1980, he and Pauline made Fayetteville, Ark., their home. They were season ticket holders for Razorbacks sporting events, loved boating on Beaver Lake, and volunteered at Washington
Regional Hospital. While in Fayetteville, Pauline became a member of the Arkansas Master Gardener Program. In this capacity, she volunteered many hours planting flowers along the highway, helping the Fayetteville Botanical Garden get its start, and answering phones at the University Extension.
After Con passed in 2013, Pauline decided to return to her hometown of KC in 2015 and enjoyed five wonderful years at Villa Ventura Independent Living Apartments.
Pauline is survived by her daughters and “sons-in-love”, Cathleen (Timothy “Doc” Klippert), Patricia (Duane Curtis), Jude (predeceased by Don Roth) and grandson, Michael Roth.
Pauline was also very close to her nieces and nephews: Kenny Gosnell (Lana), Tim Gosnell (Donna Hart), Andy Ehrhardt and family, Jill (Ehrhardt) St. Louis and family, Janis (Ehrhardt) Gebhart and family, Sean (O’Donnell) Winzer and family.
Pauline’s family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

YLEXINGTON, Okla. — Bearlin “Chuck” Boswell Dunnam, 73, went into the Arms of Jesus April 1, 2020, in Lexington Okla., formerly a longtime resident of Arkansas. He Loved the Lord and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He was born April 29, 1947 in Earle, Ark., to Lester Boswell and Stella Mae Hale Dunnam.
He served in the Army going to Vietnam. He was a truck driver for many years. Chuck loved to sing, making up his own versions and writing poems. He loved helping people and making them laugh.
He loved his family Immensely, We were his world.
He’s preceded in death by his parents, L.B. and Stella Dunnam; great-grandmother Callie Hale; his brother, Danny Lee Dunnam; stepson, Trent Wooten; great-grandson, Jeremiah Engleman; grandsonin-law, Cody Hittson.
He’s survived by his daughter, Rebecca Eggert of Gentry, Ark.; son Michael Dunnam and wife Lisa of Decatur, Ark.; son Tony Dunnam and wife Lori of Purcell, Okla.; his brother Lester Dunham of South Haven, Mich.; his brother Raymond Dunnam of Paragould, Ark.; grandchildren, Brittany Koehler and Jason, Amanda Hittson and Clint, Caley Evans and Levi, Alyssa Brock and Jeremy, Josh Dunnam and Carressa, Megan Dunnam White, Scotty Dunnam, Sara Dunnam and Hayden, Nicholas Dunnam, Amber Wooten, Kenyon and Justa Wooten, Kelsey Wooten, Kendra and Mathis Horner; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

ROGERS — Charmaine Lynn Lane, 63, of Rogers passed away March 30, 2020, in Rogers. She was born Aug. 6, 1956, in Riverside, Calif., the daughter of Milless Shores.
She is homemaker and preceded in death by her husband Patrick Lane.
Charmaine is survived by her children, Patricia Froga, Mary Navarrette, Ulysses Lane, Diane DeVall, Kristy Rivas and Matthew Lane; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Barbara “Kay” Kirkland, 83, of Gainesville, Fla., passed away on March 21, 2020, at 8:35 p.m., at the VITAS Hospice Center at the Plaza Health and Rehab Center. She was born on
April 25, 1936, in Ponca City, Okla., to Marvin and Katherine Gardner. She was one of three children.
In 1957 she began her career in Cosmetology, where she owned and operated several successful hair salons. In the 1960s she worked many times with Hollywood movie and stage productions.
She was the wife of William “Bill” R. Kirkland Jr. who was a veteran pilot during WWII and later a CEO with Mobil Oil Corporation. They were married 38 years. When they returned from overseas in the mid 1980’s she was active and on the board for the Bella Vista Women’s Golf Association before moving to Florida.
She will be buried at the Greenlawn Cemetery at 3700 River Blvd. There will be a family memorial after things settle down with the covid-19.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Lee, sonin-law Bill Lee; two grandchildren, spouses and four great grandchildren, Kiley Lee, Spencer, Liam and Ellie Simmons.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Pauline (Ehrhardt) O’Donnell joined her husband, Con O’Donnell, in heaven on March 21, 2020.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., in 1925, Pauline attended East High School, graduating in 1942. While working at the KC Leeds Chevy plant, Con O’Donnell winked at her and she winked back. Thus began their timeless love.
In 1954, Pauline and Con married. Because she was the president of the local PEO chapter and he a dedicated Chevy district manager, instead of a honeymoon, she attended the PEO convention in Chicago and he went on a business trip to western Kansas.
Thereafter, they were inseparable, living in Independence, Kan., Wichita, Kan.,
Florissant, Mo., and Grosse Pointe, Mich. When Con retired in 1980, he and Pauline made Fayetteville, Ark., their home. They were season ticket holders for Razorbacks sporting events, loved boating on Beaver Lake, and volunteered at Washington Regional Hospital. While in Fayetteville, Pauline became a member of the Arkansas Master Gardener Program. In this capacity, she volunteered many hours planting flowers along the highway, helping the Fayetteville Botanical Garden get its start, and answering phones at the University Extension.
After Con passed in 2013, Pauline decided to return to her hometown of KC in 2015 and enjoyed five wonderful years at Villa Ventura Independent Living Apartments.
Pauline is survived by her daughters and “sons-inlove”, Cathleen (Timothy “Doc” Klippert), Patricia (Duane Curtis), Jude (predeceased by Don Roth) and grandson, Michael Roth.
Pauline was also very close to her nieces and nephews: Kenny Gosnell (Lana), Tim Gosnell (Donna Hart), Andy Ehrhardt and family, Jill (Ehrhardt) St. Louis and family, Janis (Ehrhardt) Gebhart and family, Sean (O’Donnell) Winzer and family.
Pauline’s family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

LEXINGTON, Okla. — Bearlin “Chuck” Boswell Dunnam, 73, went into the Arms of Jesus April 1, 2020, in Lexington Okla., formerly a longtime resident of Arkansas. He Loved the Lord and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He was born April 29, 1947 in Earle, Ark., to Lester Boswell and Stella Mae Hale Dunnam.
He served in the Army
going to Vietnam. He was a truck driver for many years. Chuck loved to sing, making up his own versions and writing poems. He loved helping people and making them laugh.
He loved his family Immensely, We were his world.
He’s preceded in death by his parents, L.B. and Stella Dunnam; great-grandmother Callie Hale; his brother, Danny Lee Dunnam; stepson, Trent Wooten; great-grandson, Jeremiah Engleman; grandson-in-law, Cody Hittson.
He’s survived by his daughter, Rebecca Eggert of Gentry, Ark.; son Michael Dunnam and wife Lisa of Decatur, Ark.; son Tony Dunnam and wife Lori of Purcell, Okla.; his brother Lester Dunham of South Haven, Mich.; his brother Raymond Dunnam of Paragould, Ark.; grandchildren, Brittany Koehler and Jason, Amanda Hittson and Clint, Caley Evans and Levi, Alyssa Brock and Jeremy, Josh Dunnam and Carressa, Megan Dunnam White, Scotty Dunnam, Sara Dunnam and Hayden, Nicholas Dunnam, Amber Wooten, Kenyon and Justa Wooten, Kelsey Wooten, Kendra and Mathis Horner; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Burial will be at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville Ark. Arrangments are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark.
