BENTONVILL­E — Carolyn Ann (Cowan) Hook, 74, died April 13, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was born in Greenville, Texas, to Leroy and Frances

Cowan. Carolyn attended Lubbock Christian College and was a graduate of Harding University with a bachelor’s in elementary education. She was a talented artist, painter, crafter, and interior designer with a passion for herbal foods and their efficacy for health.

Carolyn treasured people and the church. A devoted Christian homemaker and minister’s wife, she served as a member of the Bentonvill­e Church of Christ for 40 years. She loved her family, singing, leading sixth grade Bible classes, and studying and teaching Biblical Evidences and Archaeolog­y.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walton, of Bentonvill­e; sons Todd and Holly of Bentonvill­e and David and Robyn of Springdale, Ark.; stepmother Virginia Cowan of Edmond, Okla.; brother Joe Cowan of Arp, Texas; stepbrothe­rs Paul Parrish of Duncan, Okla., and Jon White of Guthrie, Okla.; sister Jan Arcidy of Bonita Springs, Fla.; and her beloved grandsons Hunter, Aidan, Jacoby, Jonah and Isaac.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepbrothe­r Mark Parrish.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Willard Warner West IV, 36, of Fayettevil­le, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020, in Fayettevil­le. He was born Nov. 23, 1983, in Fayettevil­le to Willard and Ronita West III.He was preceded in death by his mother, Ronita and his younger brother, Alex West. Will enjoyed cooking, genealogy, cartograph­y, caving and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica West; father Willard West III; stepmother Diana West; sister Shelly Thomas and husband Alex of Fayettevil­le; and sister Grace Garner and husband Matt of Fayettevil­le.

LOWELL — Norma Eleanor Esposito,

age 88, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, in Lowell, Ark. She was born April 15, 1931, to Nathaniel and Bertha (Dudley) Gerald in Andover,

Mass.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Bonnie Monarrez and son Michael Eposito.

Norma and Tony moved to Northwest Arkansas from California in 1997. Here they were members of the Church of Nazarene in Bethel Heights. Norma and Tony were married 59 years.

Norma was employed by the Springdale School District for many years and got to love and be loved by the many students she served in the lunch room. She also worked at Harps Food Stores for many years and, at 88, she was getting ready to go to work the morning that the Lord called her home.

Norma loved her family and liked to always be doing something including travelling and visiting family members all over the country.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony C. Esposito Sr. of the home; daughters Patricia Beairsot and husband Steve of Washington and Linda Grady of Rogers; sons Robert Esposito of Rogers, Clayton Rodgerson of Lowell, Bruce Rodgerson and wife Carlotta of Siloam Springs and Anthony C. Esposito Jr. of Lowell; brothers Albert Gerald and wife Elaine of Michigan; son-in-law Cesar Monarrez of Springdale; adopted son/grandson Michael Booth of Springdale; and numerous grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren and great-great-grandchild­ren.

ROGERS — Joan Van

Vliet Corliss of Rogers passed away Sunday, April 12, in Sonora, Ark. Joan Corliss was born in the Panama Canal Zone on Dec. 20, 1933, to parents Walter and Ruth Van Vliet.

She was 86 years old and was preceded in death by her husband, John Basil Corliss Jr. and son John Basil Corliss III.

She is survived by daughter Leslie Corliss Everett and son-in-law Steven Everett; grandchild­ren Chad Everett, Kristen Thompson and Kelsie Everett; great-grandchild­ren, Kylie Thompson, Kayden Everett, Kyler Everett and Briggs Thompson.

Spending nearly half her life in the tropics, she was always a fan of calypso music and a good bananas foster. She loved to get all dressed up and go out for a dance and a dirty martini, extra dry before dinner. She is best known for her colorful, bright style of clothing and jewelry and her loud, infectious laugh.

She was an avid traveler, visiting the Caribbean often with husband Jack, and was a trooper with whatever adventure her grandkids wanted to drag her along on.

Corliss cared very deeply about every person she befriended and will be missed by many. Referred to for many years as “Nanny,” this bird-watching, sunshine-loving, hibiscus-growing, lovely soul will be remembered so fondly by those who knew her.

ROGERS — Norma Lee

Finn Jump, 80, went to her eternal home with the Lord on April 14, 2020. Norma was born Sept. 21, 1939, in Strawberry,

Ark., to the late Quent C. and Mae Marie Cooper Walker.

She was also preceded by sister Jenny, brothers Edwin and Jerry and first husband Harold Finn.

Survivors include husband Robert Jump; sons Mike Finn and wife Kris and Derek Finn and wife Vicki, all of Rogers; sister Linda Willis and husband Earl of Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchild­ren; seven great-grandchild­ren; and numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Norma graduated from Fennville (Mich.) High School in 1957 and worked several years for Walmart. Norma enjoyed church mission trips to the Holy Land and Thailand. She was a life-long Baptist and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Rogers and will be remembered as a faithful mother, wife, a true friend and a thoughtful, compassion­ate, generous lady.

The family deeply appreciate­s the comfort and care provided by the doctors, nurses and staff of Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e. A public viewing in the stateroom of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers will be Friday, April 17, from 8:30-4 p.m.

Due to current restrictio­ns no more than 10 persons may be present at a time. Private family funeral service and entombment will be held later.

ST. PAUL — Erivn Ray

Kimball, 71, of St. Paul, passed away April 14, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pam Morgan Kimball and his children Shane Kimball and Amanda Williams. Graveside services will be at Morgan Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
