CENTERTON — Troy Lee West, 84, of Centerton, Ark./El Paso, Texas, a loving father and grandfather, passed away April 20, 2020, in Springdale, Ark. Troy was born in Duncan, Okla., to Irvin Lee West and Mattie Mae West, on June 26, 1935. He attended school at Roswell, N.M. He graduated from New Mexico State. He worked as an electrical engineer for White Sands Missile Range for 30-plus years. He was a veteran and served in the Navy.
He loved making jewelry, spending time with family and friends, and loved joking around and giving a hard time.
Troy was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta West and Terry Thomas and father Irvin Lee West and mother Mattie Mae Henry West.
Troy is survived by his spouse of 25 years, Min Davis of Texas; daughter Michelle and favorite son-in-law Luke Pool of Arkansas; sons Ken King of Texas, Wayne Baumgardner of Korea and Lee Baumgardner of Texas; brother Phillip West of Idaho; nephew Joe West and wife Tammy of New Mexico; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Troy’s family of Troy wishes to extend their sincere thanks to nurse Lori Bowman, physical therapist Mother Barbara Christie, Apple Creek Rehab and Nursing Home, Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, and all other doctors, nurses and certified nurse assistants that have taken care of Troy.

ELKINS — Mrs. Margaret Beasley, age 77, of Elkins, Ark., passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born May 12, 1942.

YFAYETTEVILLE — Frances Lee Cumbie, age 81, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020. She was born Sept. 10, 1938, in White Oak, Ark., to Frank and Johnnie Woods Jenkins.
She graduated from Ozark High School in 1955 and went to Arkansas Tech in Russellville. She then moved to Fayetteville and met the love of her life, Frank Cumbie, which she was married to for 45 years.
She was retired from the Fayetteville Public Schools after 30-plus years and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 60 years, Fayetteville Evening Lions Club Auxiliary, Fayetteville Retired Teachers, Fayetteville Education Association and the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by husband Frank Nathaniel Cumbie, daughter Melissa Lee Cumbie and brother Paul Jenkins.
She is survived by sons Curtis Cumbie and wife Joyce of Fayetteville and Don Cumbie of Fayetteville; granddaughter KayLee Cumbie of Fayetteville; and her beloved cat, Sunshine.
There will be a private family service at this time and a public memorial service/celebration of life to be announced at a later time because of covid-19. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

Marjorie “Marge” E. Fowler, 83, of Fayetteville, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2020. She was born May 12, 1936, in Guy, Ark., to the late Faber and Julia Mode.
Marge was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Fowler and brothers Ray Mode and Aulton Mode.
Marge attended Guy Perkins High School, where she played on the girls basketball team and grew up picking cotton and milking cows on the family farm.
She raised her two daughters in Jonesboro, Ark., where she was a Mary Kay Beauty consultant. Marge moved to Memphis, Tenn., in 1976, where she met and married Tom Fowler.
She enjoyed working on their farm in Somerville, Tenn., sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. Marge was known as “Grommie” to her grandchildren and they all have many fond memories of their time with her fishing ponds, chasing cows and playing with her pet rabbits.
She moved to Fayetteville, Ark., in 2010 to be closer to her children.
Marge is survived by daughters Karen Wiechman (Bill) of Little Flock, Ark., and Sheri Brooks (Wayne) of Goshen, Ark.; grandchildren Emily Gunn, Ashley Donner (Adam), Pete Brooks and Luci Brooks; great-grandchildren Marley, Maddie and Emmie Gunn, Jack Eason and Josie Donner; sisters Linda Thomas (Hoyt) of Heber Springs, Ark., Rosemary Cowan (Vern) of Riverbank, Calif., and Diane Remus (Bob) of Guy, Ark.; and brother Keith Mode of Guy, Ark.

PEA RIDGE — Mr. Sidney Wayne McCann, age 81, of Pea Ridge, Ark., passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born March 27, 1939, in Sweetwater, Texas ,to James Wayne and Inez Reed McCann.
Mr. McCann served in the Navy, was a member of First Baptist Church in Springdale and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union.
Mr. McCann was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara McCann, brothers Billy McCann and J.W. McCann, and sister Della McCann.
Mr. McCann is survived by his children, Karen D. Gaines and husband Mike of Pea Ridge and Denise Meeker and husband Tony of Las Vagas, Nev., and sister Lois Richardson of West Fork, Ark.
