Criscare helps you navigate the maze of Medicare options

-

For Tony Cristee, owner of Criscare, working as a Medicare consultant is more than a job, it’s a commitment to helping seniors navigate an often times confusing system.

“I really enjoy assisting people through the maze of Medicare,” Cristee said. “There are dozens of plans out there, all slightly different. I help folks dial in the plan that’s right for them.”

Cristee encourages everyone of Medicare age to carefully compare the coverage they have at work with coverage they are able to obtain on their own. In many cases the coverage available with a traditional Medicare supplements is more complete and cost less than group coverage obtained through employment.

“Many baby boomers continue to work past their 65th birthday and have group insurance at their workplace,” Cristee said. “However this is not always the best option.”

“I have met with many people that are continuing to work just to qualify for insurance,” Cristee continued. “Prospective clients come to find out what is available for health coverage and learn that they can enroll in a plan that covers all of their medical expense with one low monthly payment, no co-pays and no deductibles. They have been surprised that coverage of this kind is available and affordable.”

“This isn’t like selling other products or other kinds of insurance,” Cristee said. “This is really about finding options that fit the client’s needs. I don’t sell anyone a Medicare plan, I just help them choose the options that are right for them.”

Cristee’s years of experience in the workplace have provided him with the insight some other consultants may not have.

“I see people who have been cautioned by their HR department that if they leave the group coverage they will not be able to return. This can be very disturbing to people that have pre-existing conditions,” Cristee said. “They are very excited to learn that coverage is available at an affordable price. If a person has had continual coverage at work since becoming Medicare eligible they are qualified for a plan regardless of their health.”

And Cristee points out that this coverage is usually more affordable since many employers are forced to have plans with very high deductibles in order to provide coverage at all.

“I encourage anyone of Medicare age or approaching it to meet with an experienced insurance agent to explore their options,” Cristee said. “You will be pleasantly surprised by the coverage available. I have been studying Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement health plans and I am amazed at the menu selection that exists in the marketplace. Everyone’s needs are different.”

There is absolutely no cost to meeting with Tony Cristee of Criscare. He can help take the confusion out of these very important decisions you need to make by finding you the plan that best meets your needs. Also, he will be happy to meet with you in your home or at the public library but meeting in person isn’t really necessary. He can consult with you by phone and even sign you up for a Medicare policy online.
