Restaurant inspections

Critical violations are those factors leading to foodborne illness and must be corrected immediately. Noncritical violations relate to maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.

BENTON COUNTY

May 28 Paradise Donuts

1101 N. Walton Blvd., Bentonville Critical violations: Large refrigerator is not holding food items at 41 degrees and below. Kolache sausages were at 46 degrees and a roll of breakfast sausage was at 44 degrees. Food items should be at 41 degrees or below. Noncritical violations: Shelving under doughnut shelves has a layer of duct tape on it.

2301 W. Walnut St., No. 23, Rogers Critical violations: Packaged black olives being drained in back handwash sink at time of inspection. Noncritical violations: Cardboard boxes of food items being stored directly on floor of walk-in freezer. No test strips available. Retail food permit not posted.

May 29 Beaver Lake Bistro

14528 Arkansas 12 East, Rogers Critical violations: Juice 43 degrees in small glass door chest cooler in bar. Shall be kept at 41 degrees or below. Noncritical violations: Missing thermometer in small glass door chest type cooler in bar. Floor has puddle of water near automatic dishwasher, may be a leak from mop sink. Some debris buildup on floors between coolers and under kitchen equipment in kitchen.

Critical violations: Top part of prep table cooler not holding correct temperature. Ham at 49 degrees. Onions at 51 degrees. Pineapple at 50 degrees. Cold holding shall be 41 degrees or below.

Noncritical violations: Ice scoop on top of the ice machine.

Magnolia Coffee House

295 Kelli Ave., Farmington Critical violations: No soap or paper towels at the handwashing sink or the bathroom sink.

Noncritical violations: Wet wiping cloth was not stored in sanitizer. Ice scoop is stored on top of ice machine and frozen fruit scoop is stored inside freezer. Single use packages of utensils stored in a box on the floor. No test strips. Observed the opening permit was posted. Post a current permit.

Critical violations: Handwashing sink in kitchen has hot water turned off due to faucet leaking.
