No Police? Defense ordained by Creator

-

After hearing that the Minneapolis City Council has a veto-proof majority to disband their police force, one wonders how they’re going to stop stealing, car speeding, forgery, murders, etc, in their city. Even their left-leaning mayor is against it.

Mankind was given certain rights by the Creator and one of those was to protect itself against criminals of all sort. Granted, George Floyd didn’t deserve his cruel end, but the action of a few jaded police officers doesn’t mean the whole criminal protection system should be shut down.

Imagine living without any way to protect you except yourself and a few passive political social groups making house calls to oversee law and order where you live. Nevertheless, no matter what Minneapolis or other cities will do, the Creator has already ordained a level of defense for the general population. The Good Book makes it clear in Romans 13, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation … For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”

You see, not only do police officers and sheriffs and the like have their eye on crime, but He who rules and judges from above since the beginning has an eye for organized justice for all mankind. Thank God for that. Literally.
