ROCKHURST UNIVERSITY
Among spring 2020 graduates from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo., was Kevin Bujarski of Springdale, who graduated with a Master of Science degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Rockhurst University is one of 27 Catholic, Jesuit universities in the United States and is consistently listed among the top Midwest regional universities.
EMPORIA STATE
Rebecca Leigh Herrig of Fort Smith graduated from Emporia State University in May 2020.
Herrig earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Located in Emporia, Kan., Emporia State University offers more than 200 academic programs in the School of Business, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Library and Information Management and The Teachers College.
AURORA UNIVERSITY
Olivia McCarter of Bentonville has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester at Aurora University in Aurora, Ill.
McCarter is a freshman majoring in Business Admininstration and Finance. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 3.6 GPA or higher.
Aurora University is a four-year, private, nonprofit, fully accredited higher education institution located about 45 miles from Chicago.
UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA
A total of 16,470 students enrolled during the 2020 spring semester at the University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

WICHITA STATE
More than 2,000 students completed degrees in spring 2020 at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kan.
Among them were Meghan E. Beehler, Bentonville, Bachelor of Business Admininstration, Marketing; Shivani Venkat, Fayetteville, Master of Science, Industrial Engineering; Ashley N. Yancey, Fort Smith, Bachelor of Arts, Art Emphasis, Cum Laude; and Aileen C. Rueda-DaCosta, Gentry, Bachelor of Arts, Political Science.
WSU enrolls about 16,000 students, and offers more than 50 undergraduate degree programs in more than 150 areas of study in six undergraduate colleges.
UNIVERSITY OF IOWA
Among the more than 5,700 University of Iowa undergraduate, graduate and professional students graduating this spring from the University of Iowa under extraordinary circumstances were:
Katerina Hazell of Fayetteville, Master of Fine Arts, Book Arts.
Chandler Pendleton of Greenwood, Master of Science, Biostatistics.
And Jacob Thompson of Fayetteville, Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.

NORTHERN MICHIGAN
Among students named to the Dean’s List for the winter 2020 semester at Northern Michigan University in Marquette was Tucker Russell of Bentonville, who earned a 4.0 GPA.
Established in 1899, Northern Michigan University is a public university with an enrollment of about 8,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
