WASHINGTON COUNTY

First Presbyteri­an

Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, holds Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. Staff members have been working the past several weeks to develop safety protocols and procedures, but suggest anyone who is in a high-risk group or who is uncomforta­ble meeting in person continue to attend via live streamed services on YouTube and through a link on the church’s web site.

The church has named a new director of Christian education, Jennifer Wormington. She will coordinate, oversee and unify Christian education activities of the church.

At 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, weekly Zoom Disciplesh­ip Classes continue for adults and for the FPC Kids B.L.A.S.T. program. Both are on the website and available to all. A Presbyteri­an women’s group meets via Zoom on Wednesdays at 7 a.m. to study the scriptural passages to be used in the coming Sunday morning service.

Summer Sunday Evening Vespers Service will be at 6:30 p.m. each Sunday on the south lawn of the FPC campus.

Bella Vista Community

Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., continues to suspend non-ministry events and Kids Connect until further notice. Church ministries may meet by appointmen­t only through the church office.

The Men’s Bible Class meets on Wednesdays in the chapel area at 1 and 7 p.m.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open 10 a.m. until noon on Friday.

Bible study at 8:30 a.m. precedes worship. Wednesday Bible study begins at 7 p.m. at the church and both are available at Google Meet.

Forest Hills Blvd., will be collecting school supplies for the Gravette School District beginning the week of July 26. Donations can be dropped off at the church office. Supply lists are available at Walmart.

At 4 p.m. Wednesday, the Eckart Tolle Book Club considers “The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenm­ent”

Unity Church has placed a Little Free Pantry by the front door of the church at 2200 S.E. J St. in Bentonvill­e.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts a live service at 10:15 a.m. Sundays. Pastor Mark Voll will be preaching on the parables of Jesus during the month of June.

The service is also livestream­ed on Facebook; streamed to Vimeo.com/ user 42482704; at www. villagebib­leefc.org; and audio of the live service can be heard on 90.3 FM in the south church parking lot.

The Oasis Food Pantry is open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon for drivethrou­gh pickup.
