Elizabeth Stinnet, an architect with WER Architects/ Planners, has been made an associate with the firm. While at WER, she has worked on numerous projects including the University of Arkansas Alpha Delta Pi sorority house renovation and addition, the Bentonville Emergency Communications Center and the Razorback Baseball Development Center. Stinnet received her bachelor of architecture from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
Katie Thompson, director of the Science Venture Studio of Startup Junkie and founder and CEO of Rooted Startups, and Boon Tan, senior director of global trade strategy of the World Trade Center Arkansas, were elected to the board of directors for the Arkansas Association of Asian Businesses during a virtual meeting July 24.
Yang Luo-Branch, owner of Y Illustrations and an employee at Tyson Foods, was re-elected as president of the association for the next two years.
Dr. Stephanie Pereira recently joined Washington Regional as an emergency medicine physician.
She earned her medical degree and completed an emergency medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Pereira is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Emergency Medicine.
