SPRINGDALE — Clyde Bryan Blevins Jr.,

age 95, of Springdale, Ark., passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. Mr. Blevins, son of Clyde and Bertha (Thornberry) Blevins, was born on March 6, 1925, in Combs, Ark.

After high school, he was drafted into the United States Navy and served his country proudly from July 17, 1943, to April 27, 1946. On July 29, 1946, he was united in marriage to Dixie Calhoon and to this union three children were born; she preceded him in death in 1997. Mr. Blevins was then united in marriage to Lois Condra on April 2, 1998; she preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 2017.

During his lifetime he became a farmer, saw mill owner, master carpenter, draftsman and he was an all around jack-of-all-trades. Mr. Blevins also enjoyed studying the Bible, gardening and listening to bluegrass and gospel music and his dogs. He did it his way.

Survivors include one son, Gary Blevins and his wife Sammye, of Springdale, Ark.; two daughters, Brenda Alderson and her husband Clifford, of Springdale, Ark., and Marilyn Neil and her husband Gary, of Tontitown, Ark.; three grandchild­ren, Traci Blevins, Monica Holland, and Spencer Neil; three great-grandchild­ren, Afton Blevins, Kendrick Holland, and Lula Mae Holland; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Blevins was preceded in death by one grandson, Devin Jeko; and two brothers, Charles Blevins and James Blevins.

No services are scheduled at this time. A private family burial will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Crosses, Ark., at a later date.

Cremation arrangemen­ts are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Mo.
