BENTON COUNTY

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., continues to suspend non-ministry events and Kids Connect until further notice. Church ministries may meet by appointment only through the church office.

Sunday services are at 9 and 11 a.m.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., invites everyone to Sunday morning services at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday School for all ages and adult Bible classes are at 9:45 a.m.

The Men’s Bible Class meets on Wednesdays in the chapel area at 1 and 7 p.m.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open 10 a.m. until noon on Friday.

First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, 901 N.E. J St., holds services online Sundays at 10:15 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube.

At 7 p.m. Aug. 9, there will be an outdoor evening vespers service in the south parking lot.

The FPC Food Pantry is operating as a drive-through on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. Bring something (utility bill, etc.) that shows that you are a resident of Benton County.

Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, holds services each Sunday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Randy Moll, pastor.

For those unable to attend, the service is available live on the church Facebook page. Members desiring the Lord’s Supper but not comfortable attending services may call or email pastor@ goodshepherdrogers.org to make arrangements.

Bible study at 8:30 a.m. precedes services and is online at Google Meet. Wednesday Bible study begins at 7 p.m. at the church and is also available at Google Meet.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., will continue to present its services on its website or on YouTube (search “highland christian church bellavista”).

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., is collecting school supplies for the Gravette School District. Donations can be dropped off at the church office. If you would like us to do the shopping for you, please mail your check to the church, payable to PCBV. Please write “School Supplies” on the memo line.

The weekly service is posted to the website under the “Worship” tab, and on Facebook Sunday mornings.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut, No. 113, Rogers, have canceled in-person services until further notice. You may attend services of The Unitarian Universalist Church of Fayetteville (UUFF) via Zoom with a link found on uufayetteville.org.

Unity Church of the Ozarks, 2200 S.E. J St., Bentonville, presents a 10:30 a.m. service, “The First Harvest,” by the Rev. Elise Cowan, on Facebook.

Larry Owensby presents meditation on Facebook at 7 p.m. daily.

Unity Church has placed a Little Free Pantry by the front door of the church at 2200 S.E. J St. in Bentonville.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts a live service at 10:15 a.m. Sundays.

The service is also livestreamed on Facebook; streamed to Vimeo.com/user42482704; at www.villagebibleefc.org; and audio of the live service can be heard on 90.3 FM.

The Oasis Food Pantry is open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon for drivethrough pickup.

WASHINGTON COUNTY

Compassion Fayetteville will be part of a “webi-thon” fundraiser Aug. 14-15 for Charter for Compassion, which provides an umbrella for people to engage in collaborative partnerships in nearly 50 countries.

The Compassion Fayetteville segment will be shown at some point in the 1-5 p.m. window on Aug. 15.

There is no charge to watch any or all of the online presentation, but opportunities to make donations run throughout. Register at tinyurl.com/cfcwebithon. The “Get Tickets” button there has a “free” option.

First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, hosts a vespers service at 7 p.m. Aug. 9 on the FPC south lawn.

The church is having in-person Sunday services at 10:30 a.m., as well as livestreamed services on YouTube and through a link on the church’s web site.

At 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, weekly Zoom Discipleship Classes continue for adults and for the FPC Kids B.L.A.S.T. program. A Presbyterian women’s group meets via Zoom on Wednesdays at 7 a.m.
