Vote is about campaign that pits right vs. left

-

Democrats are clearly running their 2020 presidential race on a “Biden is not Trump” platform. They believe they can sit back and let Joe read his scripted notes from his basement, not participate in any debates, and let Trump win the election for him. Biden can count on overt support from the 24/7 news channels (excluding FOX), all the network news channels, entertainment outlets and all their celebrities, and virtually all of the higher education institutions. That leaves the GOP with a tough hill to climb. But perhaps Republicans have support from the left in ways that might not be so obvious.

Most striking right now is the left’s successful campaign to denounce America as an institutionally racist country. Most Americans recognize this as complete hogwash. They’re just too cowered to say it. In the last 20 years, over 2 million Blacks have come from elsewhere to make a life for themselves here. These immigrants have been very successful. Why would they have left everything they had or knew to start over in such a racist country?

All over America, students are being taught and training seminars are being held to “aid” us hapless white people to understand all of our unconscious biases. We are told “individualism,” “perfectionism,” “intellectualism” and “objectivity,” are all vestiges of internalized racial oppression and that writing well and using proper English are all vestiges of colonial America.

We are instructed by the left to understand that gender is meaningless, that men can get pregnant, and that women who were formerly male can compete in athletic events, handily beating their confused female competitors.

Most frightening is the “cancel culture.” More and more, the left is deciding that dissenting voices should not be heard (from the people who preach tolerance). YouTube, Twitter and the like are all participating in this pernicious censorship.

Logic, morality and truth are all unknown virtues to the left. Pick up a history book.

I pray that rational, level-headed people of every ideological leaning take note and see where a Biden presidency will lead. Yes, I know Joe is supposed to be a moderate. More hogwash we’re supposed to buy. He’s as cowered as the rest of us non-Blacks. But, make no mistake, this election is not about Trump vs. Biden. It’s about right vs. left.
