SPRINGDALE — Vicki Brock-Sargent,

65, entered her heavenly home Aug. 2, 2020, surrounded by those she loved. She was born April 12, 1955, in Fort Scott, Kan., to Ken and Kathleen Brock.

She attended elementary school in Frontenac, Kan., as well as in Houston, Texas, and Lubbock, Texas. She moved to Springdale, Ark., with her family in 1969 and graduated with the class of 1974.

She married the love of her life in 1983.

Among the wide-range of skills Vicki possessed were her outstanding secretarial skills, which she used while working for Huggins and Huggins Law Firm. Perhaps an even better skill was caring for fur babies of all types, which she was able to do during her time working at Davis Animal Hospital. Vicki never met a fur baby she didn’t immediately fall in love with and want to bring home. Much to her husband’s chagrin, she was successful most of the time. She ended her working career in the compliance department at J.B. Hunt.

Upon retiring, she cared for her father through his final illness. She was a very loving daughter to her parents and a very loyal family member to her siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews (and of course, all of their fur babies). It was very rare to see her without a Route 44 Diet Dr Pepper and a bag of pretzels in her hand.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Sargent; parents Ken and Kathleen Brock; her father and mother-in-law Clyde and Wanda Sargent; brother Joe Brock; sister Karen Brock Renneker; and brother-in-law Mike Renneker.

Survivors include sister Kathy Boeckman and husband Jerry of Scammon, Kan.; sister-in-law Diana Brock of Bedford, Texas; brother Kenny Brock and wife Kelly of Independence, Mo.; brother Jeff Brock of Springdale; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many fur children who adored her as much as she adored them.

Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church with Fr. Jon Miskin officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, followed by a rosary service.

Pallbearers are Michael Brock, David Brock, Kenny Boeckman, Christopher Boeckman, Shawn Johnson, Johnathan Parson, Bobby Brock and Eric Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Brock, Jeff Brock, Jerry Boeckman and Dr. Mark Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Springdale Animal Shelter, 321 E.
