ROGERS — David Brian Williams,
63, of Rogers, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 13, 1956, in Harlingen, Texas, the son of the late William “Bill” and Charlene Brittain Williams.
David was a CPA and retired from the state of Arkansas as a joint legislative auditor. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ through which he was involved in several mission trips to Mexico and Honduras as well as having been treasurer for Green Valley Bible Camp for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing basketball and golf, and spending time with his family. He had a great smile, a jovial laugh, and will be missed by many.
David is survived by wife Rebecca Williams; children Josh Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, Luke Williams and wife Lauren of Batesville, Sarah Williams Conn and husband Ross of Gravette and Michael Williams and wife Katie of Searcy; sister Karen Williams Grate of Auburn, Ind.; grandchildren Lawson, Lincoln, Lena, Silas and Russell.
A celebration of David’s life will be Saturday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m. at Southside Church of Christ, Rogers, Ark. This service will be livestreamed on Southside Church of Christ’s Facebook Page or Youtube.com. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Southside Church of Christ.
