Angles in mix in Spain

Connor Syme birdied his last three holes to shoot a 2-under 69 Thursday and join a four-way tie for the lead after the first round of the Andalucia Masters in Cadiz, Spain. Syme was tied with two-time European Tour winner Jorge Campillo of Spain, Guido Migliozzi of Ita- ly and John Catlin of the United States. Pep Angles (University of Central Arkansas) of Spain was the only other player to break par, shooting 70.

Saxon leads at Lincoln Land

Charlie Saxon fired an 11-under 61 at the Panther Creek Country Club in Springfiel­d, Ill., to hold a two-shot lead at the Korn Ferry Tour Lincoln Land Championsh­ip Thursday

afternoon. Vincent Whaley sits in second with a 63. Ethan Tracy (University of Arkansas) finished with a 3-under 69 on the 7,244-yard course. Matt Atkins (Henderson State) turned in a 2-under par 70, Nicolas Echavarria (Razorbacks) and Tag Ridings (Razorbacks) each finished at 1-under 71. David Lingmerth (Razorbacks) shot a 72.

FOOTBALL Browns trade for safety

The Cleveland Browns have acquired safety Ronnie Harrison in a trade with the Jacksonvil­le Jaguars, who will receive a fifth-round pick in 2021 from Cleveland. The loss of rookie safety Grant Delpit for the season with a torn Achilles tendon sent the Browns shopping for a safety.

Titans change kickers

The Tennessee Titans made a switch at kicker Thursday, agreeing to terms with four-time Pro Bowler

Stephen Gostkowski and waiving Greg Joseph. Gostkowski won three Super Bowls in his 14 seasons with the New England Patriots. He has made 87.4% or 374 of 428 of his kicks in his career. His field goal percentage ranks fifth-best in NFL history.

Colts give center extension

The Indianapol­is Colts have signed starting center Ryan Kelly to a four-year contract extension. Financial terms of the deal were not immediatel­y available but ESPN reported the deal was for $50 million and included $34 million in guaranteed money, making Kelly the highest-paid center in the league.

Flyers win in double OT

Ivan Provorov scored at 15:03 of the second overtime and the Philadelph­ia Flyers beat the New York Islanders 5-4 on Thursday night in Toronto to force a deciding Game 7. Kevin Hayes, James van Riemsdyk, Michael Raffl and Scott Laughton also scored for Philadelph­ia, and Carter Hart made a career-high 49 saves. The Flyers won a third overtime game in a postseason series for the first time. Mathew Barzal and Derick Brassard each had a goal and an assist, and Anders Lee and Matt Martin also scored for New York, which trailed 2-0 midway through the first period before taking leads of 3-2 and 4-3. Semyon Varlamov stopped 26 shots.
