WASHINGTON COUNTY

First Presbyterian Church

in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, is introducing “Wednesday StuGroups.” Wednesday afternoons are for students who want to connect with each other for a mid-week check-in and devotional. There will be separate boys’ and girls’ groups for both and senior high. Interested students may sign up via the Student Discipleship page on the church website.

At 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, weekly Zoom Discipleship Classes continue for adults and for the FPC Kids B.L.A.S.T. program. Both are available on the website and open to all. A Ladies Small Group Zoom Fellowship meets each Wednesday at 7 a.m.

This fall, FPC and senior high youth will be exploring ways to worship, study and serve in the great outdoors. All “Lifing” activities will be either outdoors, with masks and social distancing in place, or virtual. Junior high youth will meet Sundays at 3:30 p.m. and senior high youth at 4:30 p.m. Youth Director Adam Alexander will be polling this group to help decide specific plans and activities.

The first Sunday of each month at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom, parents are invited to log in for an informal facilitated conversation with each other around a chosen topic. The Sept. 6 conference will focus on “Screen Fatigue” and how to manage demands for engaging in scheduled screen time. All are invited to join the group.

FPC is having in-person services on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Safety protocols and procedures are in place to help keep members from spreading covid-19, but anyone who is in a high-risk group, may have been exposed to the virus or is uncomfortable meeting in person should continue to attend via livestreamed services on YouTube and through a link on the church’s website.

To ensure members of the church have access to pastoral care they may need in these trying times, the Rev. Curry is continuing outdoor office hours through September. He will meet with a parishioner on their front porch, in their back yard, in outdoor areas of the church, at a public or other outdoor area. Call the church to schedule an appointment.

BENTON COUNTY

Bella Vista Community Church,

75 E. Lancashire Blvd., continues to suspend non-ministry events and Kids Connect until further notice. Church ministries may meet by appointment only through the church office. Call the office to set up your meeting time.

Men’s Fellowship meets on Mondays at 8 a.m. in the overflow room near the Information Center.

Prayer Fellowship meets at 9 a.m., and Prayer Group meets at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesdays in McKay Hall.

Ladies, bring your own coffee or tea and join us for Koffee Klatch on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. in McKay Hall.

When coming to meetings, enter through the office door only.

Join our services Sundays at 9 a.m. (traditional) and at 11 a.m. (contemporary). We are following social distancing guidelines.

1990 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts Sunday services at 8:30 a.m. (traditional service) and at 10:45 a.m. (blended service). GriefShare is being offered on Thursdays at

3 p.m. in the chapel and will continue weekly until Nov. 12. This group is to provide help and encouragement

The Men’s Bible Study meets on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon. All food handlers wear face masks and ask that visitors also wear a mask and practice social distancing.

(Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., will continue to present its services on its website or on YouTube (search “highland christianchurchbellavista”). No decision to reopen the church has been made.

of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., will resume in-person services starting Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. Safety guidelines were mailed home to the congregation and are available on the home page of the website. Seating will be limited to maintain safe physical distancing, so confirm you’re coming to services by calling the church office. The service will be livestreamed beginning the same Sunday on the Facebook page and YouTube. In-person Sunday school classes and other church activities will resume at a later date.

The Bella Vista Presbyterians team is all set to walk individually over the next few weeks in support of this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, but your help is needed. Call the church office to make a pledge or drop off your donation or mail your check to the church by Sept. 20. Make checks payable to PCBV and write “Alzheimer’s Walk” on the memo line.

The Oasis Food Pantry is open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon for drivethrough pickup.
