SELIGMAN, Mo. — Doris Elaine Ball Osburn
of Seligman, Mo., passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. She was born May 5, 1947, in Japton, Ark., to James Albert and Helen (Bayley) Ball, who both preceded her in death.
Doris was a faithful Christian and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She will be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening and being an amazing Nana. In her younger years, she was always a troop leader and home room mother. She loved the holidays and always made them special for the whole family.
Doris is survived by her husband of 55 years, Forrest Osburn; two brothers, Jim Ball (Melva) and David Ball (Connie); one sister, Joyce Sanders (Rick), all of Fayetteville, Ark.; one son, Beau Osburn (Patty) of Fayetteville; and three daughters, Pam Osburn and Jana Edl (Mike) of Purdy, Mo., and Katie Colunga of Seligman, Mo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Dillon Osburn (Angela) of Oak Harbor, Wash., Ty Osburn and Alexa Osburn of Fayetteville, Ark., Zack Osburn (Kelbie) of Prairie Grove, Ark., Payton Osburn, Micah Edl and Dani Edl of Purdy, Mo., Jamie Colunga of Seligman, Mo. and Darcie Colunga of Springdale, Ark.; three great-grandsons, Bryer, Everett and Paxton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Private interment will take place in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Jack English officiating under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark.
No public service is planned at this time due to the covid-19 pandemic.
