SELIGMAN, Mo. — Doris Elaine Ball Osburn

of Seligman, Mo., passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was born May 5, 1947, in Japton, Ark., to James Albert and Helen (Bayley) Ball, who both preceded her in death.

Doris was a faithful Christian and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She will be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening and being an amazing Nana. In her younger years, she was always a troop leader and home room mother. She loved the holidays and always made them special for the whole family.

Doris is survived by her husband of 55 years, Forrest Osburn; two brothers, Jim Ball (Melva) and David Ball (Connie); one sister, Joyce Sanders (Rick), all of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; one son, Beau Osburn (Patty) of Fayettevil­le; and three daughters, Pam Osburn and Jana Edl (Mike) of Purdy, Mo., and Katie Colunga of Seligman, Mo. She is also survived by nine grandchild­ren, Dillon Osburn (Angela) of Oak Harbor, Wash., Ty Osburn and Alexa Osburn of Fayettevil­le, Ark., Zack Osburn (Kelbie) of Prairie Grove, Ark., Payton Osburn, Micah Edl and Dani Edl of Purdy, Mo., Jamie Colunga of Seligman, Mo. and Darcie Colunga of Springdale, Ark.; three great-grandsons, Bryer, Everett and Paxton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Private interment will take place in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Jack English officiatin­g under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayettevil­le, Ark.

No public service is planned at this time due to the covid-19 pandemic.
