Ellis Lafate Trolinger,
95, of Hindsville died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, in Fayetteville. He was born Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1925, in Hindsville to Grover and Essel Tidwell Trolinger.
Ellis married Phoeba Marie Phillips on April 6, 1947, in Hindsville and together they were parents to four children.
He was the first bulk feed truck driver for Tyson Foods, where he started working in 1953. He loved to grow a garden annually and enjoyed sharing his produce with friends and neighbors. Ellis lived at home and took care of his farm and yard until age 94.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Ellis was predeceased by his parents, wife Phoeba Trolinger, son-in-law Larry Mason and grandchildren Leisa Oxier and Shawn Mason.
He is survived by son Ronald Trolinger of Springdale; daughters and sons-in-law Vivian Mason of Highfill, Patricia and James Larson of Tontitown and Dorothy and Arlis Oxier of Cave Springs; grandchildren Anthony Mason, Cynthia Reed and Denise Gunem; and great-grandchildren Christina Hall, Dominik Mason, Cadence Mason, Elianah Mason and Dakota Reed.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home. Please practice social distancing and masks are required for entry. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home with Loy Counts officiating.
Pallbearers will be AB Burton, Clifford Burton, Lonnie Burton, Cole Burton, Buck Evans and Virgil Bohlen. Honorary pallbearers will be Willard Anderson and AT Smith.
Interment will immediately follow services at Colbaugh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ellis’ name may be made to Willard Walker Hospice, 325 E. Longview St., Fayetteville, Ark., 72703; or the Colbaugh Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory, Huntsville.
