BENTONVILLE—Houston Kane Koenigseder,
a lifelong resident of Bentonville, passed away Sept. 25, 2020. He was born June 20, 1996, in Rogers, the son of Casey and Kim Koenigseder. He was always known as Kane and will be remembered as a magnificent human being. Loving and selfless to not only his family and friends, but almost everyone.
He was a natural athlete and excelled in many sports, but baseball was his passion and he was an all-state catcher at BHS. He played on full scholarships all through college and got his bachelor’s degree at Southern Arkansas University after playing for Connors State College and earning his associate’s.
Warner, Okla., was his second home and he will always be a Cowboy! He excelled in almost everything he did and was recognized for baseball, work, and life achievements, but Kane was humble and loving and many of his family and friends didn’t even know the true level of success he achieved in such a short time.
Kane’s survivors include father Casey; siblings Eleanor and Shepherd; stepfamily Trista and Blake; grandparents Jim and Diane Koenigseder and Lorie Comer; and a huge extended family including many nieces and nephews who he enthusiastically embraced and entertained often.
He was preceded in death by mother Kimberley and grandfather Randy Burt.
All are invited to visit with family from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home on Central in Bentonville, preceded by public viewing from noon to 5 p.m. Kane’s life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Bentonville Cemetery, which Kane lived beside since the first grade. Please come ready to hear and share stories about this wonderful man. Condolences may be expressed at www.CallisonLoughFH.com .
