SETON HALL

Seton Hall University has announced that Carolina Barba of Fort Smith qualified for the Spring 2020 Dean’s List.

After the close of every semester, undergradu­ate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than “C,” qualify for the Dean’s List.

As one of the nation’s leading Catholic universiti­es, Seton Hall, in South Orange, N.J., is home to more than 10,000 undergradu­ate and graduate students and offers more than 90 majors.

ARKANSAS STATE

Students on the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for summer 2020 at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro have been announced. The lists recognize undergradu­ate students who achieved the highest grade point averages while enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours of study.

The Chancellor’s List, designated as CL, includes students who earned a grade point average of 3.80 to 4.0 for summer classes. LASELL UNIVERSITY

Lasell University in Newton, Mass., began its fall semester in early September by welcoming more than 370 new students to its campus and virtual communitie­s. Among them were Madison Pillstrom of Fort Smith, who will study communicat­ion, and Aiyana Anderson of Fayettevil­le, who will study cybersecur­ity.

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA

Gravette resident Adreanna Megan Pendergraf­t graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies as a part of the summer 2020 class, which included 395 students from throughout Oklahoma, the country and world.

Founded in 1890, Central connects its nearly 15,000 students to 118 undergradu­ate areas of study and 77 graduate majors from its main campus in Edmond and facilities throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.

UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA

Margaret G. Joyce of Bentonvill­e was named to The University of Alabama President’s List for summer 2020.

A total of 506 students enrolled during the 2020 summer term at UA were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all As).

Also, the University of Alabama awarded some 1,345 degrees during its summer commenceme­nt, including Carson McCullough of Rogers, Master of Business Administra­tion; and Mary Reed of Rogers, Master of Science in Human Environmen­tal Sciences.

The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa is the state’s oldest and largest public institutio­n of higher education.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has announced its summer 2020 Chancellor’s List, recognizin­g students with superior academic performanc­e.

To be eligible for the Chancellor’s List, students must earn at least nine credit hours with a 3.9 GPA or higher.

Local students named to the summer Chancellor’s List include Bessie Alexander of Centerton; Susannah Baxter of Rogers; Alicia Henry of Bentonvill­e; Parker Lehnen of Van Buren; and Ashley Reynolds of Springdale.
