76, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020. She was born March 11, 1944, in Cabool, Mo., to Wilburn and Johnsie ( Gillette) Dean.

She wa s preceded in death by her parents, loving husband and father of her children Jerry Welch, husband Daniel Augustine and granddaugh­ter Rachel Welch.

Sharon was a hard worker. At one point she held down four jobs while attending night school working toward a business degree. She spent more than fifteen years working at the jewelry counter at Montgomery Ward department store where she developed many lasting relationsh­ips. She was famous for her “reversed dinners” where dessert would occur before the meal. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchild­ren.

She is survived by her children Shanna Kimball and husband Jimmy of West Fork, Jerry Welch and wife Jill of Joplin, Mo., Rhonda Duncan and husband Tim of Stella, Mo., and Garrett Welch and wife Lori of Fayettevil­le; sisters Madeline Cardin and Madie Spence; brother Charles Dean; grandchild­ren Jessica Kimball, Sara ( Bo) Ketcher, Ethan Kimball, Alicia (Garrett) Daniel, Braedon Welch, Dillon Welch, Eric Welch, Ryan Welch, Whitney (Joe) Eckrich, Courtney Duncan and Hanna Duncan; and great- grandchild­ren Rhett Ketcher and Keenan McNally.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, at the chapel mausoleum of Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayettevil­le. To place an online tribute, visit www.nelsonbern­a.com.
