GARFIELD — Oliver Pauoa Chebon Doctorello,
“Oa,” a senior at Bentonville West, passed away Sept. 21, 2020, in Garfield, Ark. Born Dec. 18, 2002, in Kauai, Hawaii, he was the son of Kekoa and Rachel Doctorello.
Oa’s sweet smile, generous heart, free spirit, and abounding love touched many lives. He never met a stranger and loved people with all his heart. His friends and family describe him as sweet, kind, generous, a protector, inclusive, goofy, adventurous, courageous, full of life and love.
We cannot forget to mention his bold, confident, and dapper attire. Pauoa enjoyed being a part of a team in any capacity. He enjoyed soccer, basketball, football, wrestling, choir, forensics, and the Blues Brothers.
Pauoa also enjoyed the outdoors. He loved kayaking, fishing, hiking, the beach, traveling and collecting rocks of all shapes and sizes.
Pauoa will be remembered above all else for his generous heart, strong character, great hugs and before leaving a room telling everyone he loved them. He had a natural way of making everyone around him feel special. He left an impact on his community that will last for generations.
In addition to his parents, Pauoa is survived by his best friend and brother Ho’opono; grandparents Sam and Kathy Doctorello of Honolulu, Hawaii; grandmother Sandra Kendall of Okemah, Okla.; and his beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pauoa’s celebration of life will be at 9 a. m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at Cross Church in Rogers. All are welcome.
