BENTON COUNTY

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., continues to suspend non-ministry events and Kids Connect until further notice. Church ministries may meet during office hours by appointmen­t only through the church office.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts Sunday services at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday School for all ages and adult Bible classes are at 9:45 a.m. You can also see the service on the website.

The Lutheran Hour is broadcast every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on radio stations KURM-AM (790) and KURM-FM (100.3).

Trunk or Treat will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31. This will be a drive-through event for handing out candy, and will be held rain or shine. Social distancing and masks will be enforced.

GriefShare is being offered on Thursdays at 3 p.m. in the chapel and will continue weekly until Nov. 12. Call Dorothy Jones at 3661700 with any questions.

The Men’s Bible Class meets on Wednesdays at 1 and 7 p.m. in Classroom 3.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon.

First Presbyteri­an Church in Bentonvill­e, 901 N.E. J St., holds services online Sundays at 10:15 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube.

The FPC Food Pantry is operating as a drive-through on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. Bring something that shows that you are a resident of Benton County.

Good Shepherd Evangelica­l Lutheran Church

in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, meets each Sunday at 10 a.m., following the covid-19 precaution­s.

The Church Council meets at 7 p.m. Oct. 20. The annual church Voters’ Meeting is Nov. 8 at the church and on Google Meet after the service. Bible study at 8:30 a.m. precedes services and is online at Google Meet. Wednesday night Bible study is at 7 p.m. at the church and at Google Meet.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., will continue to present its services on its website or on YouTube. No decision to reopen the church has been made.

The Presbyteri­an Church of Bella Vista,

1880 Forest Hills Blvd., supports Essentials Outreach, a program to provide essentials for those in need in the Gravette School District. Food Stamps just provide food. A collection box is in the hallway across from the nursery along with the list of needed items. “Essentials” will be available to those in need once a month at the Gravette Civic Center.

The church has returned to in-person services at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Safety guidelines are available on the website. Seating is limited, call the church office if you will be attending. Watch the service live on the website or the Facebook page. A recording will also be posted on Sunday afternoon.

First Presbyteri­an

Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, announces its 2020 fall disciplesh­ip opportunit­ies for all ages.

Sunday morning services will continue to be both in-person and livestream­ed at 10:30 a.m. Online services are available on YouTube and through a link on the church’s website.

Sunday morning inperson disciplesh­ip opportunit­ies include “The Life of Jesus” led by Peggy Ward; “Theology for Today” with Pete Joenks; and study of “Fierce,” a book by Jennifer Cowart, led by Karen Lisle with Women of Faith. All begin at 9:30 a.m. Jim Buck leads Present Word via Zoom at 9 a.m. Sundays.

FPC Kids B.L.A.S.T. is in person Sundays at 9:30 a.m. The B.L.A.S.T curriculum and resources are also available on the church website.

Outdoor office hours are Mondays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays 1 to 3 p.m. Call the church make arrangemen­ts.

The final Vespers service for the season will begin at 6 p.m. this Sunday on the south lawn of the campus.
