■ Azalea Belle Gray, the sixth child of Aaron and Erin Fernald Gray, is the first baby in 90 years born on Maine’s Little Cranberry Island, with the previous birth being that of her great-grandfathe­r, Warren Fernald, in 1927.

■ Precious Stanton of Ocean Springs, Miss., gave birth a month early to son Jaquariuan Robinson Jr., weighing in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces, as she and her boyfriend rushed in a pickup to the hospital, saying afterward: “I felt like I was in a movie.”

■ Matthew Bell, chief executive of Legend Auctions, said a 1794 silver coin dubbed the Flowing Hair Silver Dollar, believed to be among the first ever minted in the U.S. and the most valuable at $10 million or more, went unsold at a Las Vegas sale because it didn’t reach the minimum bid.

■ Robert Bailey, 63, of Centrevill­e, Va., faces up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to bribing an FBI official with more than $128,000 and gifts such as a first-class trip to Texas to watch the Dallas Cowboys and a beach house rental in North Carolina in exchange for help winning constructi­on and maintenanc­e contracts worth more than $12 million for an Idaho data center.

■ Stephanie Baker, 48, of O’Fallon, Mo., faces prison time after pleading guilty to three counts of mail fraud, admitting that she stole more than $48,000 from Prairie Farms Dairy Supply Co., where she worked in the accounting department, and from one of the company’s customers, using some of the cash to pay for boarding a show horse.

■ Leslie Brown, 62, who has 41 years of experience in education, cited declining health as she resigned as superinten­dent of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System in Louisiana just two months after being named to the post.
