Carina Maqueda recently became vice president and loan officer at Partners Bank in Johnson. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and a board member of the Spark Foundation.
Bill Rogers has been selected as president and chief executive officer of the Springdale Chamber of Commerce. Rogers has experience in economic development, municipal board management, event and strategic planning, government affairs, public relations and media affairs. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management and the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
Elizabeth Burns, APRN, recently joined Washington Regional Internal Medicine Associates. She earned a master of science in nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Arkansas Tech University at Russellville.
Dr. John Brizzolara of the Washington Regional Ozark Urology Clinic has begun seeing patients at Eureka Springs Family Clinic the first Monday of every month. He provides diagnosis and nonprocedural treatment of urological disorders. He received his medical degree and completed a urology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urologic Association and American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Aubrey Ziegler recently began seeing patients at Baptist Health Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy Center-West at 520 Towson Ave., Suite A, in Fort Smith. He received his medical education from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and received residency training while serving at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss.
Dr. Eric Chung, DO, MPH, recently joined Baptist Health-Fort Smith and will provide general, trauma and bariatric surgical services. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and weight loss surgery at Advanced Laparoscopic Surgical Associates MIS in Fresno, Calif. He completed his residency in general surgery at Stony Brook Medicine Community Surgery Program in Southampton, N.Y. Chung completed a doctor of medicine and a master’s degree in public health at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
