Lisenbee: Serving best part of the job
PEA RIDGE — Lt. Michael Lisenbee is supervisor of Criminal Investigation Division and school resource officer and serves as the public information officer.
He has been in law enforcement for 16 years and in Pea Ridge for four years.
“The thing that I love most about my job is having the trust and privilege to serve the citizens of Pea Ridge. Since being a young child, I always wanted to defend the defenseless, help the needy, and improve myself by being better every day,” he said.
“During times of great joy or stressful uncertainty, I always have felt that there are those out there, depending on me every day and it’s my calling to ensure they are served and protected in the best way possible.”
“During the course of my career in law enforcement,” Lisenbee said, “I have had the privilege and opportunity to work for a more heavily populated area than Pea Ridge. This surrounded me with some of the greatest law enforcement officers where we experienced a wide variety of crimes and situations that most law enforcement officers never experienced.”
“It also allowed me to receive some of the best police training available and through all of those experiences, it has given me the best thing I’ve every had in law enforcement, to serve Pea Ridge to my highest potential,” he said.
A native of Camp Lejeune, N.C., Lisenbee was raised in Farmington, graduated from college with a Criminal Justice Degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville and immediately after graduation began his law enforcement career. “My career started in Springdale where I was assigned to a Crime Suppression Unit where I primarily investigated street gangs and street-level narcotics,” he said
“Pea Ridge is the greatest community I have every had the privilege to serve. A community that has always made me feel has my back,” Lisenbee said.
“I am very grateful to have the privilege to serve this community. Thank you for always showing the great support you do to our police department and its officers.”
