FAYETTEVILLE — Anne Jackson Clower
passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2020. She was 58 years old.
She wa s predeceased by her father, Bill Clower and brother Brooks Clower. She is survived by mother Janet Clower; sister Nancy Clower; sister-in-law Leigh Clower; nephew Will Clower; and niece Evan Clower. Anne is also survived by her friends, whom she loved dearly, and her two cats, Dottie and Gracie.
Anne graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1979, where she was a member of National Honors Society, and attended Girl’s State. She attended college at the University of Arkansas, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She was also a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
She worked as an insurance adjuster for both MetLife and Walmart, and then later as a customer service representative for Walmart.
Anne was a kind and loving person who always put her family first. She considered her mother her best friend. She was also a dedicated friend to her sister. She loved planning road trips for the Clower girls. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she loved filling stockings for the family members. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
A socially distanced memorial service for friends and family will be held at Moore’s Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 23. For those wishing to attend but cannot in-person, the family will host a Zoom video call during the service.
