Trillium Salon Series will host an outdoor, socially distanced experimental music event at 7 p.m. Saturday on Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville. The evening features avant-garde musical project Untight and Cellophane Garden and will be held at 150 N. Skyline Drive.
Artist/musician Sam King’s project Untight is experimental guitar featuring atonal resonance, sustained motion and cascading sonic layers.
Musician/recording artist Kevin Blagg performs under the moniker Cellophane Garden, “creating ambient excursions from aural exploration of expansive sonic craftsmanship, by focusing on ephemeral shapes and temporal resonance through guitar precision, low frequency soft synths and ambient beds.” trilliumsalonseries.com. $10 suggested donation.
Sunday Reset:
Meditations in sound + light On Sunday, Rogers sound sculptor Craig Colorusso and the Momentary in Bentonville present a free, familyfriendly restorative day on the Momentary Green with light + sound installations for Sunday Reset.
Soothing and energizing sounds from Colorusso’s solar powered Sun Boxes will immerse listeners, with performances and yoga classes occurring throughout the day. In the evening, Colorusso’s piece “CUBEMUSIC” will transform the meditative space into a web of sound, light and shadows.
