Keeping our liberties
Let me ask a question: Have you ever seen a happy liberal? I think you’re more likely to find hair on a frog or be struck by lightning. Honestly, it seems they are always the crowd of doom and gloom, cynical, pessimistic, angry, untruthful, fearful, and perpetually miserable. A perfect example of this is found in mainstream media “hosts” and the vitriol they spew incessantly. Liberals delight in mocking those who believe in something they don’t.
I believe they also seek to destroy the Constitution, the America we’ve known, and won’t reveal what their nefarious intentions are. To them, the end justifies the means. What’s hard to understand is capitalism has given them a quality of life like no other, yet they would gladly trade it for socialism. You cannot appease these individuals no matter what you give them. Quoting Churchill, “Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last.”
This pandemic has given us a glimpse of what life would be like with a liberal socialist administration such as the Harris/Biden ticket, because we know who would be calling the shots. And it won’t be Biden. Regulations and mandates would be copious. Everyday life would be altered in ways unimaginable. And all of Obama’s cronies would reappear.
Of course, the opposite of the socialists would be the freedom-loving. I’m speaking of a person who truly loves this country, respects the Constitution, projects optimism, and treasures the values that have made the United States the envy of the rest of the world.
So, we are facing this: We either keep our liberties or give them up. The coming election will be the defining event as to whether or not our republic continues.
Like Patrick Henry, I say, “Give me liberty or give me death!”
