Jerry King
of CFS Consulting in Fayetteville was recently awarded the Kenneth A. Spencer Award from the American Chemical Society for meritorious contributions in the field of agricultural and food chemistry. He is being recognized for his more than 50 years of contributions in applying sub- and supercritical fluids for chemical separations — in processing as well as the analysis of foods and natural products. He received his bachelor of science and master of science from Butler University in Indianapolis; his doctorate from Northeastern University in Boston and post-doctorate from Georgetown University in Washington.
D.J. Burrows,
CPA, has been named controller of Washington Regional Medical System. Burrows earned a bachelor of business administration in accounting and master of business administration from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Hannah Wilburn,
APRN, recently joined Washington Regional Harrison Family Practice. Wilburn earned a master of science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Ill., and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas.
