Jerry King

of CFS Consulting in Fayettevil­le was recently awarded the Kenneth A. Spencer Award from the American Chemical Society for meritoriou­s contributi­ons in the field of agricultur­al and food chemistry. He is being recognized for his more than 50 years of contributi­ons in applying sub- and supercriti­cal fluids for chemical separation­s — in processing as well as the analysis of foods and natural products. He received his bachelor of science and master of science from Butler University in Indianapol­is; his doctorate from Northeaste­rn University in Boston and post-doctorate from Georgetown University in Washington.

D.J. Burrows,

CPA, has been named controller of Washington Regional Medical System. Burrows earned a bachelor of business administra­tion in accounting and master of business administra­tion from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Hannah Wilburn,

APRN, recently joined Washington Regional Harrison Family Practice. Wilburn earned a master of science in nursing from Chamberlai­n College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Ill., and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas.
