ROGERS — Robert Joseph Clark,

73, of Rogers, Ark., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 30. He was born in Plainview, Neb., on Dec. 27, 1946, to Harris E. and M. LeVaughn (Clemons) Clark.

Rob graduated from Benilde High in Minnesota in 1965. Rob enlisted in the Army in 1966 and served in the Vietnam War until 1969. While serving he received the Bronze Star.

Rob graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsvil­le with an accounting degree. He married Sallie (Effinger) Clark in 1971. After graduating from SIUE, Rob went to work for the May Company/Venture Stores in St. Louis.

In 1978, Rob became comptrolle­r of Dickerson Sporting Goods Supply Company in Camdenton, Mo. In 1986, Rob began working for a company that audited for Walmart. In the early 1990s Rob started his own auditing company and audited entities from Arkansas to Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Clark.

Rob is survived by his loving wife Sallie; daughters Jamie (Jonathan) Ragan and Mandy (Vernon) Medley; sisters Anne Marie Clark, Carol (Rick) Short, Mary Jane (John) Butler and Charlene (Jim) Scarfino, all of St. Louis. Rob’s grandchild­ren were the absolute apple of his eye: Jordan Ragan, Patrick Ragan,

Connor Ragan, Colin Ragan and McKayla Medley. Rob also has many nieces and nephews who he loved and cared deeply for.

Rob loved Jesus and loved his church family at Grace Baptist in Rogers where he was a member. Rob always carried a big SMILE and never met a stranger.

To say Rob LIVED to duck hunt is an understate­ment. Rob lived to duck, goose, quail, or pheasant hunt. He was an avid supporter of Ducks Unlimited and helped promote waterfowl conservati­on his entire life.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Arkansas State Veterans Home at Fayettevil­le and Washington Regional. We are truly grateful for your loving kindness and care to our husband, father, and Papa.
