ROGERS — Charles Olen “Chuck” Reeves,

87, of Rogers peacefully passed away at his home Nov. 24, 2020. He was born June 26, 1933, in Delight, Ark., to the late Olen Reeves and Gladys Marie Duke Reeves.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother George Robert “Bob” Reeves.

Born and raised in Delight, Ark., he was the second oldest of four children.

One of his proudest accomplish­ments was in 1952 when he won the state championsh­ip in boxing, along with his two brothers, each brother winning their respective division.

In June 1952, he married Betty Butler Brown, which would quickly become his most cherished accomplish­ment of 68 years.

Chuck was also an avid classic car enthusiast, mas- ter woodworker, and devoted Razorback fan. He never met a stranger and was always grinning about something. He was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge #460 and of the Scimitar Shrine.

Survivors include his wife Betty, and their beloved son, Charles Random “Chuck” Reeves, and wife Robbin; two grandchild­ren, Steven Reeves and Jennifer Watson and husband Michael; three great grandchild­ren, Blakely Kate, Beckham Reese, and Morgan Overcash; and his two brothers Jackie Ray Reeves and Joe Conrad Reeves; and many other loved ones.

A memorial of his life will be held at 3 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 29, at First Christian Church Disciples in Rogers, Ark., with Sr. Pastor Shawn Wallace officiatin­g in the main sanctuary. Following the service, it will be available for online viewing at www.youtube.com/c/FCCRogers.
