Not the whole story
Howard Hughes graciously promises to restrain himself and not “riot, burn, loot or destroy anything.” Thanks, Howard. Will he condemn death threats to elected officials such as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, and Philadelphia Elections Commissioner Al Schmidt?
Arrests have been made. Two armed men in Philadelphia. Thirteen in Michigan. Will he condemn verbal abuse of lower-profile election workers who risk coronavirus infections so elections can be held, as described by ProPublica in “For Election Administrators, Death Threats Have Become Part of the Job”?
Will he follow up on how the New York Post story he cites about Joe Biden’s foundation is misleading? There are actually two cancer initiatives, as explained in The Cancer Letter article “Biden Cancer Initiative is not to be confused with the Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot.” There was also a Biden Foundation with programs to end violence against women, advance community college and support military families. The foundations closed when President-elect Biden began his campaign.
He should also compare the Biden foundations to the Trump Foundation, which was ordered to pay $2 million for misusing foundation funds for his 2016 campaign before being dissolved in a plea agreement with the New York attorney general’s office. The plea deal also required remedial education for Don Jr., Eric and Ivanka on how foundations are supposed to be run. Just a thought.
