FARMINGTON — John William Snow,

-

43, joined heaven on Sunday, December 6, 2020. John was known for his willingness to laugh, practical jokes and joking attitude. He always had some funny story to bring joy to those around him. John’s love of the outdoors began early on as a young child when he would go exploring with his BB gun in the back pasture of his family’s home. He loved riding four wheelers, hunting, and exploring the back trails of the Arkansas countryside. He definitely picked up his father’s love for firearms, and always had his next gun purchase picked out. He also loved ’80s TV including Walker Texas Ranger, Top Gun, and Star Wars. He loved to cheer and jeer the Arkansas Razorback football team. George Strait and Garth Brooks were frequently listened to on the car radio. John loved his career as an electrician that he began in 1998. He recently worked for many years for Springdale Public Schools. He was known for being a problem solver, a hard worker and a dedicated employee. He was loved by his coworkers and referred to as a kind man.

His other love was his family. His wife Sherry was by his side for 20 years. They loved adventuring those back country roads together. Some of his family include his parents, Jim and Barbara Snow; sister, Christi and her husband James Schrauger, and his uncle Johnny. His mother in law is Marilyn Stephenson and brother in law Dennis. He always wanted to be the favorite uncle to Megan, Sophia, Haley, and Mathias. He also leaves behind a host of great lifelong friends and other relatives.

While his time here on earth has come to a close, he will always be remembered for his infectious laughter and kind heart. John will be honored at a celebration of life on Friday, December 11, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1410 Porter Road, Fayetteville, Ark. The service will be at 10 a.m., and will be officiated by Gene Fulcher.
