■ Margaret Grun Kibben , a retired Navy rear admiral and Presbyteri­an minister, has been appointed House chaplain by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, becoming the first woman to hold such a post in either chamber of Congress.
