SPRINGDALE — Frances Ouida Pelton,

age 92, died December 26 at Richmond Healthcare and Rehab Center in Richmond, Kan. She was born on August 11, 1928, in Jonesboro, Ark., to Harold and Ouida Pelton. Frances was a Registered Nurse for 34 years at the Veterans Administra­tion in Fayettevil­le, Ark.She lived the majority of her adult life in Springdale, Ark.; a longtime member of the First Pres by terian Church in Springdale; and she loved the Lord. An avid Razorback fan since the 1950s; andfor many decades rarely missed a game. Frances enjoyed volunteeri­ng in service opportunit­ies at Church; and loved taking care of her family and friends. She participat­ed in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) for many decades; and wanted family and friends to study the Bible and love the Lord.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ouida Pelton; and brother, Harold “Ted” Pelton. Survivors include: Niece, Cindi (Pelton) Walker, her husband, Robert Walker. Nephew, Tim Pelton; his wife, Billie Pelton; Great Niece, Misty Dawn (Pelton) Velez, her husband, Luis; Great Niece, Emily (Walker) Moore, her husband, Jacob Moore. Great-great nieces/nephews, Cadence Velez, Addyson Velez, Timothy Jose (TJ) Velez; Annabelle Moore and Gideon Moore.

The funeral will take place on December 30th at First Presbyteri­an Church under the direction of Rev. Becky Purcell: Visitation at 10 a.m.; service at 11 a.m.; and graveside service to follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearer­s: Tim Pelton, Robert Walker, Luis Velez, Jacob Moore, and Timothy Jose Velez.
