■ Rebecca Grossman , 57, of Hidden Hills, Calif., pleaded innocent to multiple homicide and hit-andrun charges in the deaths of two boys who were hit by a vehicle while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk with their parents, according to prosecutor­s.

■ Garon Mosby ,a spokesman for the St. Louis Fire Department, said that a firefighte­r was in serious but stable condition after being injured while responding to an apartment fire that sent two other people to the hospital.
