Ready to go Under The Sea?

-

Aquarium at the Boardwalk is thrilled to welcome guests for a journey filled with fish and fun.

This new attraction includes ten zones teeming with more than 7,000 colorful fish, sharks, stingrays, seahorses, and more. From the moment they splash down below the surface on an exciting 5D Submarine Adventure, visitors are enchanted by unique views of marine animals and fantastical worlds such as a mermaid palace, an undersea shipwreck and an infinite jelly bloom.

Along the way, there are playful photo ops and activities including popping up inside a lionfish habitat, scaling a 24-foot-high kelp climber, and trying on a high-tech diving suit. Want to earn bragging rights? Find all nine hidden sculptures of Aquarius the Giant Pacific Octopus; the clever camouflaging cephalopod is tough to spot!

This unique aquarium attraction was designed to have guests feel like part of the ocean life all around them, creating a connection between land and sea. For example, the final glorious view of the coral reef is inspiring and showcases the importance of Aquarium at the Boardwalk’s partnership with Coral Restoration Foundation™ (www.coralrestoration.org). Over the next 20 years, this non-profit organization and other partners will be working to restore seven iconic reef sites along Florida’s Coral Reef. Guests can join the effort by posting their coral angel pictures using hashtag #coralpassion.

“We are very proud to showcase the diversity and splendor of the tropical oceans,” says Director of Husbandry Steve Bitter. “Tropical reef fish have complex social lives and it’s fascinating to take the time to watch how they interact.” Aquarium at the Boardwalk is open year-round and located at 2700 West 76 Country Blvd., Branson, Mo 65616. Tickets are limited and time specific. They may be purchased at the Box Office, but it is encouraged to pre-purchase online at www.AquariumAtTheBoardwalk.com. For even more Branson fun, check out the FIVE’r, which combines Aquarium admission with all four attractions at the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center just up the road. “Sea” you soon!
