WEST FORK — Cora Eldena “Deane” McAdoo,

79, of West Fork, Ark . , passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, in Fayettevil­le. She was born Oct. 1 2 , 1941 , in Roswell, N.M., to Robert and Hazel Brooks Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James U. McAdoo and brother Robbie Franklin.

Deane moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1957 after growing up near Roswell, N.M. After moving to West Fork, Deane met and married her husband. They raised four children — ReNa, Vicki, James and Kristi.

She was a devoted wife, mother, g randmother, great- grandmothe­r, daughter, and sister. She loved watching her children and grandchild­ren participat­e in their many sports and activities. Spending time with her family gave her the most joy. Throw in some good food and she was a happy lady. Sunday lunch at her house was the best part of the week.

Her sweet, kind spirit and unconditio­nal love will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Deane was employed by the Baldwin Piano Company and later Ayrshire for 42 years. She was a dedicated employee who rarely missed a day of work.

She is survived by daughters ReNa Acree and husband Mike, Vicki Bradley and husband Mike, and Kristi Daniels and husband Chad; son James McAdoo; grandchild­ren Brandon and wife Melissa, Darrick and wife Sarah, Ashley, Andrea, Mason and Ryan; great-grandchild­ren Brooklyn, Reese, Chase, Anna Kate, Rush, Bennett, Nixon and Lennon; sister Gwen Smith; sisterinla­w Judy Downum and husband Harold; along with many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at Zinnamon Cemetery.
