-

died Jan. 19, 2021, at his home. Born Nov. 20, 1961, in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert and Alice Martin, he was the eldest sibling to four younger sisters.

At 17, he left home to join the Navy, proudly serving his country four years on the USS Buchanan. After leaving the Navy, Bob worked as a boiler technician for several years before finding his true calling as a diesel mechanic.

Bob loved working on things and could fix anything. If you knew Bob, you know he could look at something he knew nothing about and fix it. His mechanical ability was amazing.

Besides working on things, Bob had a long list of hobbies. He loved to hike, camp, fish, anything to do with the outdoors. He had a passion for cooking and especially loved to cook with his daughter, Rebecca. He loved spending time with family.

Bob met his wife, Dianna in July 1987, doing something he loved, riding his motorcycle through the Ozarks. They were married a year later in July 1988. After a wonderful 16 ½ years of marriage, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter they named Rebecca Michelle Martin. Bob absolutely adored his daughter. She was his pride and joy.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Alice May Michel Martin.

Bob was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, etc. and he was always the life of the party at any family gathering. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
